It was a deeply concerning time for families, but Mrs. Robin stepped in and turned everything around with remarkable speed and dedication. Her proactive approach, attention to detail, and genuine care for the children, staff, and families have completely reshaped the school into a safe, nurturing, and well-run environment. The difference is undeniable--our most recent inspection under her leadership was completely clean, with zero violations. It's incredible to see how quickly she addressed past concerns and built a community that prioritizes both education and well-being. She is hands-on, communicative, and always looking for ways to improve. Any learning environment she is a part of is truly fortunate to have her, and we cannot recommend her highly enough! A special mention also goes to Mrs. Amy, who stepped in as temporary admin when the transition began--her hard work in getting the school back on track was invaluable. And my daughter absolutely loves spending time in Mrs. Mayra's classroom--she always comes home so happy on the days she's with her!

Are you looking for childcare with a truly caring staff and nurturing environment? Look no further…read morebecause L'Academy is the place! I haven't stopped raving about it since my daughter started a few months ago. Ms. Quynh was incredibly professional and guided me every step of the way through the enrollment process. She was always quick to respond and thorough in her communication, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The environment felt safe, clean, and welcoming from the very beginning. The cost also felt very reasonable and huge bonus is you work for the state or healthcare as there is a discount (not sure if they are still doing this but I was able to get the discount when my daughter started). One of my favorite features is the app they use to track the children's daily activities. I love being able to see photos and videos of what my daughter is doing throughout the day--it gives me peace of mind and helps me feel connected even when I'm away. The teachers are so warm and attentive. On the rare occasions when my little one is having a tough morning, they were patient, creative, and compassionate in helping her adjust. Knowing she's in such good hands has been a huge relief for me as a parent. Earliest drop off was 7:30am and latest pick-up was 5:30pm. What really sets L'Academy apart--beyond the amazing staff--is their language program. They teach Spanish and Mandarin, which has been a wonderful way for my daughter to learn about different cultures while also stimulating her intellectual growth. In the short time that she was there, 4 months, she learned how to count and say certain animals or objects in Spanish and Mandarin. I can't recommend L'Academy enough to my friends and family. It's truly a gem!

Each of them entered kindergarten not only prepared academically but also socially and emotionally ready to thrive. The teachers at Peace Preschool are truly remarkable--patient, compassionate, and so skilled at nurturing a love for learning in every child. They create an environment where kids feel safe, supported, and excited to explore. The curriculum strikes the perfect balance between structured learning and creative play, fostering curiosity and independence. One of the things we've appreciated most is how much Peace Preschool emphasizes building strong social skills and character. Our kids learned kindness, teamwork, and conflict resolution, which have carried over into their relationships and classroom behavior in kindergarten. As a parent, I always felt completely at ease knowing my children were in such capable and caring hands. The communication from the staff is excellent, and the entire community of families is warm and welcoming. If you're looking for a preschool that will give your children the foundation they need to excel in school and beyond, look no further than Peace Preschool. I can't recommend it enough!

My older children who are now in grade school miss it so much and have fond memories and life-long friends who they see at annual alumni events. The practical skills that they learn are so wonderful in addition to other experiential learning opportunities like field trips, story book days, Holi, and more! We had mixed luck with his teachers, and I was left wanting a closer relationship with the person spending a bulk of the day with my child. From the moment I met Ms. Taz in her classroom for a tour, I felt an instant sense of calm and connection. My son felt comfortable enough to start interacting with the classroom materials. Not to mention, it felt pretty amazing to see a South Asian woman of color (just like me) leading the classroom. Over the last 2 years, I've been able to see my son gain independence, social skills, and learn how to be respectful. Ms. Taz is always available to answer any concerns or questions that I may have. I feel comfortable approaching her, and appreciate the small and diverse classroom size which fosters a close relationship between my son and other students in the classroom. As a newish parent, it has also been comforting to finally have a small community of parent friends that we spend time with and can depend on. I can't wait till our baby girl is old enough to be an LLM student.

There's so many other centers in Elk Grove (that take child action) please don't need to settle for this place. Sara the owner will gaslight your child before they take anything serious other than protecting her business. In it for the money, not for kids. Said my son was a liar for communicating the way his four year old brain knows how. She shouldn't be involved in childcare. She's a business owner & that's it, she needs to be in another industry. In the video where my son got hurt, an employee walks past as my son holds his eye and somehow no one noticed. No one investigated camera footage or filed injury reports or told his dad or me until I said something the next day (even though his eye was visibly red.) My son crawled towards a kid who accidentally poked his eye. Sara the owner said either my son poked himself or this other child did, because my son fast crawled towards him to headbutt him. My son crawled normally towards him and was clearly not trying to headbutt him, he was acting as a four year old would, going up to someone to play. His eye got poked and she was turning it around on my son as if it's his fault, rather than being a mature adult. He is four years old. The owner Sara said all these kids are like her kids, but she spelt my sons name wrong & I have never seen her. She said think about the other child and his mom, what about my son- the one who got hurt? No one said they were sorry my son got hurt or hoped he was okay. She disenrolled my son without ever asking about my sons eye. She does not care about a child more than her business. During the time he went there my son told me that he plugs chargers in the wall and that his teacher told him he will be fat if he doesn't workout. Other situations would happen and I would ask about them, not accuse. I would tell them what my son would tell me and ask about it. Every time I'd be told that "they didn't see or hear anything like that happen." Somehow no one sees or hears anything here. It's clearly a communication problem and/or not paying attention. I got attitude from his teacher before too, and when I brought it up it was just denied.

As a pandemic baby, my child was initially shy and hesitant to talk or interact with others. However, after attending Elk Grove Montessori for over two years, she has become enthusiastic about sharing stories from school every day. You can see in her eyes how much care and attention she has received from her teachers. She often tells me how much she likes all her teachers. On several occasions, we've run into her teachers outside of school, and each time, she rushes over for a hug, which her teachers always return warmly. Afterward, she proudly tells us, "That's my teacher!" Academically, she can now recognize all the letters along with their phonics, spell simple three-letter words at times, count from 1 to 100, perform addition within 10, and talk about different stories. She did mention that some children occasionally behaved inappropriately, but I believe that can happen anywhere--I heard similar stories from my two older children when they were in a different preschool. We shared our concerns with the school, and since then, she hasn't mentioned it again. The school and the teachers are attentive, caring, and truly listen to the children's needs. Overall, I'm very grateful for the positive impact Elk Grove Montessori School has had on my daughter's growth and confidence.

Directors and every single teachers are always welcoming, nice and so friendly which makes it so much easier to leave toddlers on rough mornings. The ratio of teacher to kids is the best part, all kids get personalized attention and care. I am not even exaggerating, they all get their own set of stationary with names labeled, every day my toddler mentions about something new she's learned and shows work at the end of the week (pretty amazing!) especially for parents who really want balance between play and learning in pre-school. Having been through Goddard and KinderCare I thought we just had to compromise on overall cleanliness/hygiene of the center and kids being covered in food, snot, colors, dirt and marks. Nope! this preschool is so clean and well maintained every single day! they all look so clean at the end of the day because they really make an effort to keep up with the hygiene. They don't have any apps or digital portal for update and it took us some time to adjust but to be honest in pre-school it's not really a big deal. We've never had any situation where we've felt the need to know every single update of the day. They pay such good attention to each child that if we really wanted to know about how much they ate, frequency of potty time etc. they easily update us verbally at end of the day. Overall we are extremely satisfied with our decision. Just seeing all kids being loved and cared by every single teacher is so heart warming. Really appreciate LFM family for proving such a safe and happy environment for our kids in Elk Grove location.
