The gentleman that helped us was so kind. I was new there so he offered helpful suggestions and samples of items they sold. He chatted and was very pleasant. I bought 4 items for my family to enjoy. I tried the Peach Cider which was on the billboards and drew my attention. The sample was good and the actual bottle was good when we tried it at home. We also got Dark chocolate covered pecans and praline pecans. Both were luscious. The store was very neat and clean. It was especially organized. I will be going back in there on my way back through to try some other things they offer. read more

Absolutely love everything we bought! Especially the coconut butter Be sure to try the honey roasted nuts, low glycemic and perfect for diabetics. Nice little roadside stand next to a Pilot off the interstate. Large variety of bagged fruit, jams and jellies, preserves, honey, flavor coated pecans, and Claxton fruitcake if you are craving it out of season! :D. Their items would make good gifts to bring when visiting friends or neighbors. Very clean and organized and the employees were nice and helpful. read more

We make a trip down south from the Midwest at least once a year if not more, and when we do, I stop for pecans. I've bought from several different stores, usually right off the highway, but I've been to Amos' store several times now. It may have been Mr. Amos working the counter this day, and whom I had the pleasure of talking to and who inevitably rang me up: 1 lb. raw/shelled pecans, 1 pkg. honey pecans, 1 pkg. peanut brittle for the hubby & a bottle of peach cider. The honey pecans & brittle are made there, (I hope I recall this correctly) and retain a homemade flavor that is incredible. But the shelled pecans...! Pecans are my favorite & I C always swear to bring them home and make something; cookies, pie, but never do because I eat them all. read more

We stopped at the gas station next door and I just had to stop. Luckily, the person whose car I was in was up for the quick detour. We looked around and saw various items- pecans (of course), but also honey, jelly, fruit, and other yummy items. There was one gentleman manning the stand. He let us try the different pecan varieties. I typically go for cinnamon pecans, but they weren't too great. The honey roasted ones we very good though! I ate them all so quickly. $10 for 10 oz. I just got one bag. I also picked up a pecan roll for $1. A great price if you like those. I learned that I don't lol. read more
