I tried to eat at as many different restaurants as I could because I knew that I was only gonna be there for a short time. One night after partying, I tried this place out at 2 am. I was pleasantly surprised. It definitely had one of the best sandwiches in the nation. That is coming from someone who has lived in the Bay area and Boulder, CO. So, I have been around the block. And I seriously must have eaten here over 20 times during that year. I enjoyed the atmosphere here because it wasn't classy. It was just a fun, cool little place to eat. They got a juke box and serve ice-cold daiquiris. The people are very friendly. One guy would always call me "MONEY" whenever I went here. It was a memorable experience. I enjoyed it so much I even took some of my friends from school here as well. The other po' boy place I like and recommend is Russell's Short Stop in Metairie. They have crawfish po' boys there; this place does not. Russell's is more expensive though. Whether you are a local or a foodie driving through, pop into this convenient location. No frills.
