Terrible customer service. They say they will call you when glasses are ready. I've had to call twice now and still no glasses. Over two weeks! The person on the phone says " it's only a slight delay" They should have called me to discuss the delay and not me to call them Again. This place used to be pretty good service wise. No longer. I bought an expensive pair of glasses with progressive and transition lenses, but less than six months later one of the lenses developed a bubble in it. Pearle Vision replaced the defective lens, but charged me $25. I told them this was unacceptable, but they said it was a copay. However, the copay is in the event I damaged the glasses, not for their defective product. A total scam. read more

Wow, I'm so impressed. The staff is amazing at Pearle Vision. Everyone is very friendly and efficient. They are so friendly I might just stop by and hang out..lol. I haven't had an eye exam in years and the doctor took his time to explain everything and discuss my family history and concerns I had. We scheduled eye appointments for both myself and my husband. Those appointments got canceled due to the Dr being sick. They rescheduled them for 3 days later. We drove all the way and when we got there they tried to tell us that they could only see 1 of us because of the time we arrived. We had appointments at 2:20 and 2:40. They said we had one at 2:00 and we missed it. I had the email confirming the appointments. Well they didn't have time and something with a problem with the Dr. I walked out and told them neither of us would have an exam. They missed 2 clients plus we wear very expensive eyewear so they won't get that business either. read more

Love the staff here; I've been struggling to see the board in my college classes so it was time to get my eyes checked. Everyone that worked with me were super helpful, fun, & engaging. They also gave a lot of great advice on which frames looked best, what wasn't really necessary for my lenses & what would be beneficial so that they were both effective & affordable, & worked with me on some deals for my frames. Quick & easy eye exam too; I was probably done within 30mins, but they also didn't dilate my eyes this time since I had a full eye exam back in NY in May 2018 so it was still pretty recent. They did offer though so they were very considerate too. I'll be back to pickup my glasses next week, but I'll also be back in general anytime I need any sort of glasses care or eye exams while in the St. Petersburg areas read more

This location has some of the absolute rudest staff. The doctor was nice but the girls that "work" there and rude and inappropriate. I'll never be back. They stand out there and are a bunch of do nothings. My daughter who is 4 who had a mask on coughed a couple times and they said nothing til I was getting eye exam then told my fiancé and her to leave the store when I had NO IDEA. read more

I had an awesome experience. I recently moved to the neighborhood and searched for an eye doctor close enough to walk to. The office staff and tech were super nice and sped me through the exam process. The office is very automated. Dr. Lambert was excellent. He explained everything about what was going on in the photos of my eyes. Best thing - the exam was nearly 25% less than my NJ doctor and the contact lens order was 20% less than I previously paid in NJ. I love FL. read more

We had his prescription faxed over from his eye doctor on Saturday 15 minutes before this place closed. We walked in sad and wet from our terrible Jet Skiing experience and our mood quickly shifted. I was here a few weeks ago and am now quite disappointed. I came for an eye/contact lens exam. I was asked several times what contact lens type I formerly wore and replied Acuvue Oasys. After the exam, they placed my contact lens order for me on an iPad, informed me of the price, and took payment. I was never told the brand of contacts or given different brand options so I assumed they were my former brand, Acuvue, since it had been mentioned that was my preference several times. I had to call the store several times because I was never given any tracking number or estimated delivery date. The contacts eventually arrived two weeks later, but I discovered they're Pearle Vision brand. This brand is very uncomfortable, seems to be an inferior material, and causes significant irritation because the poor quality contact lenses are difficult to remove. All the staff and the optometrist were very nice, but I believe there were either intentionally deceptive to sell their own company brand contact lenses or negligent in confirming they ordered my preferred brand. read more

I had the best experience with Dr. Lambert & his staff!Moved to the St Pete area 3 years ago & haven't been able to find an optometrist that has been able to get my contact RX correct. So basically everything has been slightly blurry for the past 2 years. Dr. Lambert was able to get me into contacts that feel great & (most importantly) give me clear vision! What a relief! He took the time to explain everything & expanded my knowledge on an ongoing nerve issue that I've had for 20 years & actually gave me some clear warning signs that I can keep attuned for beyond my yearly eye exam. He's the first that gave me that knowledge and I'm frankly shocked that no one has mentioned the simple ways to me before. The location has its own parking lot, everything was clean & the machines are brand new and seem pretty state-of-the-art. The staff are very nice as well. read more

The front office staff at this location are beyond rude . Made my appointment online, I was contacted by phone to confirm my appointment and wanted to offer my insurance information , I was driving but offered to call back with it when I get home . The girl informed me the number she was calling from was not the physical office , she was just confirming , but let me know they would handle all of that at the appointment. I arrived to my appointment and she asked about my insurance . She was quite agitated this was not already verified and I explained what I was told when I confirmed my appointment and she was very dismissive. I gave her my Humana card , she was pretty snotty and said " this is your health insurance". I am aware it was my health insurance card , I work in a dental office and we sometimes can verify their dental by accessing their health, I thought it would be the same . New insurance, new office .What do I know . I told her I had VSP ... she typed on the computer for a second and said she couldn't find me . Okay . Soooo I left . I tried to find the number for VSP while in my car but could not find it , trying to verify it myself . I came back in because I was really confused and concerned to be honest . I booked this appointment because I was having some eye issues and needed to be seen by a Doctor .I was imaging what would happen if I just let a patient walk out of my practice without at least calling the insurance company . I stated this to her and she said she would call but to have a seat it would be several minutes . I ended up leaving , I felt uncomfortable , like I was bothering her . I was not mean or rude in any way . I was really shocked I was being treated this way. While your employee hit every point with her verbiage trying to save me as a patient her tone and mannerisms conveyed quite the opposite . read more

Best experience ever at an eye doctor! I can't say enough good things about my visit today. This was their first week open, and I'm so glad I got to be one of the first patients at their beautiful new location on 4th Street. Dr. Lambert was so thorough, knowledgeable and caring. He took the time to listen and answer all my questions. I really liked that he explained the exam results to me to a greater degree than past doctors, in a way I could easily understand. He considers your eye health long term as well, advising me what to be on the lookout for in the coming year and how we might adjust my prescription in the future. The equipment at this shiny new location all appears to be brand new and state of the art. They ran several tests as part of the routine eye exam that I'd never had before. They also saw my husband and were equally thorough with him. Lindsay and Sarah were both extremely friendly, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. I also appreciated that the doctor said I didn't need to move into a more expensive contact just yet, and Sarah looked for the most economical way to order my contacts. I was also impressed with Brandon, who I think will eventually be at this location. He was very helpful getting me on the schedule the very first week. Excellent doctor and staff.
