The only 'painful' part was the time between the anesthesia wearing off and the meds from CVS kicking in; which was more so uncomfortable than painful. Negative 5 star was no available…read more My wife has been seeing Dr Chatman for over 2 years for a chronic bladder infection. He has sent her to four other specialist with no results. She has loss over 50 pounds and still no advancements on her diagnosis and treatment. One specialist if a professor of Urology at Baylor school of medicine, Dr. Morgan. She told her it was menopause related without performing any test. She gave her a list of herbs and crap to buy off Amazon for a wasted $250. Ridiculous! He sent her to a nephrologist, which did nothing as well except a bunch of test with no results. Then we went to an infectious disease Dr. which gave her even more extreme antibiotics. More throwing up, weight loss and suffering. She would treat one type of infection only to have another pop up. So after 2 years of back and forth, extreme weight loss, severe pain and loads of antibiotics, the highly skilled Dr Chatman said there was nothing else he could do for her. Really, I mean really like he had did anything but caused her pain and suffering for over two years due to his lack of compassion and ability to properly diagnose and treat her. Pathetic excuse for a Dr, seems he is in it for quick cash and easy treatments. Vasectomy and simple cases seems to be his specialty, after a while he made her feel like she was troublesome and a nuisance. I contacted a fellow military officer whose husband is a nephrologist, and he gave me two referrals. We chose Dr. Gonzales at Methodist. He did more for her in the first visit than all the others combine. He pumped her bladder full of steroids and did a cystoscope 2 weeks later that showed a large hole in her bladder. WOW! Sad that Dr Chatman a board certified Urologist could bot find her problem, or maybe it was just too much trouble for him. It's amazing that the two types of bacteria present in her bladder are not common to her bladder, but are to her GI tract. Wow, this transferred by a hole in her bladder, can I have a MD degree please. We are in the process of resolving her illness as this review is transmitted, I felt the review should not wait any longer. If you want professional and timely care, Dr. Chatman is not the one. If you need something quick, easy with large returns and little effort on the Dr., if you don't mind feeling a burden and unwanted Dr. Chatman is guy. If you want quick weight loss, paying co-pays, visiting other incompetent doctors and diagnoses with out test your good with him. It is so sad what she has been through, especially the feeling of being a burden on the very Dr whose has taken an oath to help her. There is no excuse for his actions, nor the actions of the other physicians he referred her to. If you choose that path I wish you luck!

This review is for the staff and assistants of this doctor:…read more Hubby called for an appointment and finally got scheduled for a Wednesday. He gets a call a week before asking him to bring his medical records. He has a whole stack and so he asked what exactly they need. They won't say so he says he'll walk in so they can look. Monday comes and he walks in and front desk girl said a nurse has to look at it and that he needs to wait 20 mins. 45 mins passed and no one called him back. So, he goes to the front desk, no one was there, and a sign says "lunch break". Not only is this an a-hole move but also extremely UNPROFESSIONAL. So, hubby tried calling and finally another girl comes over. So he has to retell everything he just told the other clueless employee. This is girl then tells him that they're not even going to see him because he should go back to his surgeon (out of state) despite the fact that they had already scheduled him and requested for his medical records. And he's not feeling well and needed to be seen asap. She proceeded to cancel his Wednesday appointment anyway and pretty much just told him good luck. This is how far this "health care" has fallen in this country. These ZERO concern for health or care.

I called the office and they told me I did not paid. I said that was funny because how could you provided a service without any form of payment. They has no answer for that. I think this office was not honest in billing and tried to cheat their way to cash in anything they can.

That isn't an overstatement. After 40 years of feeling miserable from the time I took my first sip…read moreof water in the morning until I fell asleep, I truly had reached the point where I didn't care anymore. 40 years of being told nothing was wrong....dozens of doctors, many "specialists". None giving me more than 10 minutes of their time to try to explain a lifetime of issues. My first appointment with Dr. Banki lasted over an hour. She took the time to listen - something not a single doctor had truly done to that point. She asked questions, she took notes...she was one of the only doctors I have ever met where I felt like an individual and not "patient X". None of this was more apparent than when we met after a multitude of tests had been performed. One of the tests was a barium swallow with a videoradiograph. The results came back as "No significant abnormality". I read this result in the patient portal prior to our follow up appointment and was crushed as usual. "Nothing is wrong". During the follow up appointment, I expressed my disappointment before Dr. Banki even had a chance to sit down. Her response was that she doesn't go off of the report. She wants to see the actual test results herself. We watched the video together. She was shocked that the report reflected no findings. She pointed out everything she saw on the video...play, rewind, play rewind. The video clearly showed a hernia. It clearly showed reflux. My stomach was twisted. My left diaphragm was elevated. Within 15 minutes of the end of our appointment, she had already had the department head of radiology update the findings. The day of surgery, Dr. Banki gave my wife hourly updates. She spoke to her at length after the surgery. She called me (not her office) multiple times over the next few days to see how my recovery was going. Every nurse, technician, or doctor I came in contact with would look at my chart, see Dr. Banki was my surgeon, and immediately being raving about Dr. Banki being an advocate for her patients. Several of them were patients, or had family members, that were patients of Dr. Banki. One told me that Dr. Banki saved her mother's life with emergency surgery. Another told me how patients fly in from all over the world to see Dr. Banki. If you are the type of person that skips to the end of the story, all you need to know is this. Dr. Banki is not your typical doctor. She will listen. She will care. She will do everything in her power to help you. She will not treat you like a number. She can give hope to the hopeless. I have no words that could truly do her justice. Do yourself a favor and just keep scrolling like I did. Read the reviews and stories from others. You will see the above repeated over and over again. Thank you Dr. Banki for doing what nobody else has been able to do. You have given me the gift of feeling normal, and for that I am forever grateful.

She expects the absolute best care, respect and immediate attention from her entire team, when it comes to her patients . Starting with her highly efficient office staff, to her incredible team of her OR procedures or surgeries, to the nurses she personally approves to care for you, should a hospital stay be necessary. Dr. Banki is totally committed to the well being of her patients. We have a 43 year old handicap son, that has many difficult health issues. He has a feeding tube due to severe damage to his esophagus. Dr. Banki did not hesitate to see our son and come up with a plan to help our sons current condition. We were referred to other surgeons who refused to even see our son, but not Dr. Banki!! She treats our son like he is her only patient and is so kind and understanding of how, as his parents, how much she truly wants and expects to make our sons life better, while others would not even consider a office visit!! She has such a warm and friendly personality! Dr. Banki is also extremely beautiful! Our sons face lights up when she just enters the room! I don't care how hopeless your situation, or a loved one, appears, there is hope, with Dr. Banki. You will never regret making a appointment with this amazing doctor! We also have been extremely impressed with Southeast Memorial Hermann Hospital! They have gone above and beyond, in every area, to earn our trust and faith in their ability to ensure that our son could not be in a better hospital and receive such remarkable care. Over the last 43 years, our son has been in numerous hospitals, even out of state, and we have never seen so many different departments, come together as one, for the sole purpose of helping one very complicated and ill person feel safe, happy, and that he is special to all of them. We could never express our sincere appreciation for all that is being done for our son. With our deepest appreciation, The Horn Family

She…read morehas a straight to business personality, so if you need a doctor that's going to be nice and sweet look elsewhere. If you only care about getting your issues resolved without the extra stuff she is the one for you. I actually liked her and was going to keep her as my gyn until... After I had seen her several times and they had told me they took my insurance. I got a surprise bill from them. It wasnt too high, so I paid it and didnt ask why, I just thought it was part of my deductible or something. I made an appt some time later and when I got there, after waiting about 30 minutes the lady at the front desk called me over to tell me I had a balance. I told her that it is not possible because I had not been to the DR for several months and I paid the bill they sent me in July. She was all confused and asked me to sit. Fifteen minutes later she calls me again and explains that the problem is that Dr. Nguyen does not take my insurance, the doctor that runs the practice does. I told her I had checked with them several months before and was told she did. Then she went to ask Dr.Nguyen to see what she thought and it seems that she told her that I would have to pay as an uninsured person?? I told her NO. I have insurance and will not pay out of pocket to see her. I was not seen that day and the lady said she would call me back to let me know what they could resolve. She never called me. I called back a week later and was transferred to someone named Stephanie (who supposedly deals with insurance), left her a message and she still hasnt called me back. I am through with this office. I will just find a different gynecologist. I'm still a little pissed that they gave me wrong information but never took responsibility it. Now I'm the one that has to pay (literally) for their mistakes. Gave her two stars because although service sucked Dr. Nguyen's nurse is really sweet and kind of makes up for the Dr's lack of empathy. I really have experienced better.

Thanks to Yelp, I found Dr. Nguyen and she is a great doctor, and very personable. Went in for my annual exam and I appreciated the fact that she came in the exam room and talk to me before my exam. It was nice to chat with her for a minute about medical history, etc. I only waited about 10 minutes before the nurse called me back, which I really don't consider "waiting" since I was completing paperwork. Office staff was friendly and her nurse was great too! I'm definitely relieved to have found a new doctor in my new city.

1 - Absolute disaster of an office…read more I walked out without being seen because this place scheduled three patients for the same doctor within a 30-minute window. The waiting room was packed and clearly running way behind. Staff was rude, unhelpful, and acted like chaos was normal. No apologies, no explanation, just attitude. If you enjoy wasting your time and being treated like an inconvenience, this is your place. Otherwise, save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else. Dr Dafashy, take some pride in your profession. I hope these reviews are a wake up call for how poorly this business is ran.

Hackney is an amazing and very talented urologist. However I believe he is so good at what he does…read morethat he sometimes does not listen or care to actually hear his patients out 100%.. his office staff is nice however if you have anything done by him you better ensure he sends you the correct medication amount from the get go or you will not be able to get anything else. He prescribes what he thinks is enough or what his partners or insurance or whoever and however that's works tells him too, and that's it. Kidney Stone, stent, blood, spasms, and a 33 year old pipeline oil and gas career worker do not mix well. I am not saying anything bad other than my honest opinion, when my first stent was put it because I had a huge stone lodged in my urether I literally begged for more pain medication and never ever received any, kept getting the run around. We all know the stigma behind narcotics being prescribed but this is not something that isn't painful whatsoever- I suffered for almost a month before I was able to have my stone taken out (yesterday 10-23) thank god. Dr. Hackney you are a badass dr, I would just hope you would listen to you patients a bit more, to me being a younger adult I feel like your majority of patients are older seniors and you've gotten used to that and lost touch with the younger crowds because the seniors don't necessarily ask questions. Most of them are retired and probably stay at home or just live a very slow paced life. I do not, I am at my peak and have a huge pain tolerance, so for me to be begging to have medication to help me and some guidance is not something that's normal. His staff is nice and very helpful, at the end of the day he decides if he's going to send medication refills or not it's not up to them. I simply wanted to write my review and I hope he's able to see it, will probably not change his mind or his ways or perhaps it will. Guess we will wait to find out, once again he's a very good urologist- however I feel the program is cookie cutter in and out maximize the patient load for the $.. my honest two cents. The good and the bad have been mentioned.. just my honest and sincere opinion take it as it is.
