Been there twice for breakfast. The first time, the service was good and so was the food. The second time (just last week) the service was not friendly, up charged for fruit, and then the fruit was full of mold when it came out. When we pointed it out to the server, she notified the kitchen to cut new fruit, but we still got charged for inedible food without being offered a new bowl or removing it from the bill. The atmosphere was cool but the bartender I call the A-hole viking's fan" was a total jerk. We waited over 20 mins to get a beer when we sat at the bar. Then almost 40 mins later he finally came back to us after we had to tell out to get his attention to order food. Then! We tried to pay the bill and we waited 30 more min's to get our cards back only after asking if we could go. He then copped an attitude and purposely brought a beer to the guy next to us and states out loud " thanks for being patient". Needless to say we will never go back on a Monday night again. So we have heard all this talk about how the Peanut Farm is a great local place to watch the away Aces hockey game. Not true. We arrived there during the second period and had to ask them to put the game on which they did and then we could not get the radio box to work until 20 minutes into the service. Our waitress was to busy talking to people she knew to take our order or help us with anything we had questions about. We also had to ask her three times to get the radio box and finally another waitress got it for us! The food was pretty blah for the price...I got the club and the turkey was paper thin, rubbery and tasteless. The cheese was disgusting and the olives on my husbands taco salad were dry and hard The only good thing about the night was the onion rings. Never going back. read more

Let me start by saying the pizza is pretty good. However, the service is absolutely terrible unless you are sitting at the bar top. I have been there 4 times and once I sat at the bar and got good service but if you are at a table forget about it. The girls are more interested in chatting with each other around the computers than they are about serving customers. I was very unimpressed. All three times I sat at tables I had to ask for another beer and ask for the check. Ask for the check?!? Hello, I am trying to give you money! I will continue to go to BWW where service is great, the beer selection is far better and service is attentive. Also at BWW there is not a bad seat in the house. TV's are everywhere. This was my first experience here. My husband and I went in just after 10pm. There was a decent number of people sitting around the bar. The seat yourself casual aspect of this giant venue was nice. We chose to sit out on the back deck where we were almost immediately met by our server. She was somewhat abrupt at first but as service went on she became more friendly. We both enjoyed a tall sized beer and split a Campbell's Creek Appetizer (mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders and potato skins ) which was absolutely wonderful. Always nice to see a place that makes the mozzarella sticks from scratch. We then ordered an order of the halibut strips and a Cajun sandwich. The portions were huge and full of flavor. The halibut strips were well breaded and not dry. The kitchen also accidentally gave us sweet potato fries instead of onion rings but bright the onion rings complimentary. Overall this was a nice casual dining experience with good attention to detail . I highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to watch a game, come out for casual dining and not be bothered or out with friends. I did also take note that there was a DJ booth and stage with room for a dance floor. We will definitely be back. read more

I really like the Peanut Farm for the outdoor deck and they have the best dry rub Cajun chicken wings in town bar none. Their pizza is pretty good, but they used to have much better food and it was more affordable. I really like Barb the bartender she is great, but during busy sports events the bar is way under staffed. The bar went away from what they were known for and jacked up prices and lowered the service and good quality. The sandwiches used to be so much better it is too bad. The place has lots of potential but could do so much better. I would love to give them more stars but I thought I was generous with two stars, but if you go try the Cajun wings or Pizza they are both very good. read more

The menu is pretty underwhelming. You can sit outside but why...I would imagine you go here for the countless TV's showing different NFL games, you can sit outside at nicer places. You can get some pretty big glasses of beer here but I didn't think the beer was anything special. The patrons who make up this place really add to the atmosphere. I've seen Rice University fans, Steeler fans, Browns fans, Bengals fans, and Seahawks fans here and that was just one time. I bet during the NFL season this place is a blast to be in. We came after the dinner rush. We sat at the bar. The costumes are cute and the bartender was very personable and knowledgeable. The only thing on the menu I had was the cheesecake, which was pretty good. The menu reminded me of iHop, only a bit smaller and less corporate. Love the windows overlooking the creek/river. The menu might be varied, but it's overpriced - especially when coupled with the horrible service. Another reviewer suggested that you get all your questions answered when your server greets you because it might be the only time you ever see her - and that was spot on (until she finally delivers the check, of course). We got our food before our appetizers, asked the expediter for ranch, asked another server for ranch when it never came, finally went to the bar and got our own ranch, asked yet another server if she would find our server, and finally convinced yet another server to find us the manager. We won't be returning - we'd rather spend our money for better food and happily tip servers who actually enjoy their jobs and customers. read more

Seems more attention paid to "locals" or "regulars" than tourists, which is odd since it is just down the road from a group of 4-5 huge hotels, and minutes to the airport.
