I don't leave bad reviews... I'm a pretty easy going person but Oxford Health and Wellness Center…read morereally rubbed me the wrong way after my experience with them. I came in with excruciating back pain, sciatica never pain in particular. I did not want to go the traditional route with a doctor as they only wanted to shove steroids and muscle relaxers down my throat. I came here due to their site saying new patients were only $47 to be evaluated and that includes the X-ray. I'm not rich, I don't have a lot to spare but I had to try something. After going to my first initial appointment they took the X-rays, examined my back etc. I had to come back for the results/findings and speak with another chiropractor there. Unfortunately, that day I had to bring my 2 year old toddler. I had to sit there and basically have their services sold to me... It felt very scummy. I listened to their pitch while trying to man handle a feral toddler with sever sciatica nerve pain, I could hardly walk or bend. We get through the pitch and then I'm handed a paper telling me it was going to cost over 2k total for my appointments. I was then told I had to make monthly payments or pay in full instead of paying by the appointment. I want to know who in their right mind has that kind of money laying around... That's not even the worst part, to add insult to injury as if that outrageous number and dragging a toddler to this appointment with sever pain wasn't bad enough, I get a bill in the mail from them for over $200 for my visit. So beware, your visit is apparently only $47 IF you pay them thousands.

Patient beware. The idea of true patient concern and care is not existent. There is however a…read morepriority to convince you to agree to a "contractual treatment plan" that provides them direct access to your money regardless of the results of their "treatment". We, like another consumers review shared, would get NO return calls about inquiries to patient health, treatment or account inquiries. What we did get was consistent, timely debits to our bank account for treatments that made my wife worse with every visit. When I called and spoke with them I heard a clear separation from the business side to the patient care side. I would not recommend care from this provider to anyone. Please understand that this is simply not a "bitter customer". My wife is a consumer who went seeking chiropractic treatment due to past success we've had and what we received was treatment that made my wife worse. She did not enter treatment with neck issues but she sure left with them and is still dealing with them today. We reached out to them for help and received the same response, "you'll be sore afterwards and it'll get better". WRONG!!! We do not want this to happen to others as it did us and would not want you to fall into the financial trap that it is. Proceed with caution and if in doubt, seek a second opinion.
