There are chiros who use Applied Kinesiology and use muscle testing to help diagnose what muscle imbalance is putting your back out. And then, at a whole different level is chiros that practice NET. Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) is a mind body technique which has been shown in a number of clinical trials to be effective in reducing stress related problems. NET allows the chiro to get to the underlying cause of the imbalance that is causing you pain whether that cause is physical, emotional, or biochemical. They can then get to the cause of the problem and clear it so that its no longer an issue an you are on your merry way to a permanent solution not just a patch up each week. I highly recommend Rowen D'Souza and have referred several friends who have all received profound results from Rowen's work. Do yourself a favour and book yourself a visit.

Both Rowan and Megan are both Chiropractors and NET Practitioners, a complementary set of skills that can: flush toxins out of the body, discover nutritional imbalances due to dietary choices, and perhaps most importantly reduce stress by quickly, simply and elegantly resolving the underlying psychology issues, that may underpin any structural issues.

On my birthday in May I treated myself to a prenatal massage with Fiona at Fertile Ground. Fiona is also a qualified doula and naturopath and she certainly knows her stuff. I floated out the door on the way to my birthday dinner with significantly less pain and stress. I was also psyched to be able to claim a refund from my private health insurance for naturopath services. Over the next seven weeks I saw Fiona a further four times, including twice in the week leading up to my scheduled medical induction. Fiona used acupressure methods to assist me in going into labour naturally and lo and behold the day after my last massage I gave birth with no need for medical intervention. I've since heard from others on my mum's facebook group page that others have successfully managed to induce labour after visiting practitioners at Fertile Ground. It certainly worked for me and I couldn't be more pleased.
