Came by on a road trip from Vancouver and ate at Peace Garden. To my surprise, it's pretty good. Tastes like something from Vancouver. My boyfriend had the "New York Steak & Lobster" and I had the "War Wonton Soup" and "Mushroom Caps". The steak was cooked with the right texture. The lobster was super yummy with the butter. The War Wonton soup was super refreshing and hot, especially during this cold winter day. The mushroom caps were cheesy and good! I totally recommend people to come here. I came her twice with my family, and both times I got terrible service. The lady was really rude and made me feel like I was bellow her. The glasses were dirty, and when we asked her to change them she did so reluctantly. The food was way to greasy for my liking and it made me really sick. Overall do not recommend. read more

I was in the Peace River area with my friend and we decided to eat at Peace Garden Restaurant. The restaurant sign is very pretty and definitely an eye catcher. The restaurant is very spacious and comfortable. The staff are very friendly! This restaurant serves western and Chinese cuisine! We ordered a dish of mushroom caps and an order of New York steak and it was delicious!!! The New York steak was juicy and super yummy! I would definitely come back to eat here again! We had some take out while visiting Peace River. This place is amazing! The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating and the rice, honey garlic pork and kung pao beef were incredible. The kung pao beef is very spicy! The vegetables were fresh and cut into large chunks. The special fried rice was fresh tasting. The portions were huge and the price was very reasonable. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting peace river. read more
