Kugel's son said that was normal and with time it would get higher...it never did. I called in January, 2020 and spoke to his wife, who said their first available appointment was March 3rd, 2020. At that time, we were also told that they no longer sold the Majestic brand. Mike Kugel came out and recommended a gas serviceman to call. He came out and told us to order 2 parts. We did. Why would we need to buy parts for a brand new fireplace? The gas guy came out and didn't know which parts we needed to use...left and never came back. November, 2021, fireplace still doesn't work. I called over 5 times to speak to Mike, the owner and still have not gotten a call back. I was told by the young girl that works in the office, he doesn't want to come out or call me back since the other guy had touched the fireplace. When it was Mike who told us to call him!! You all should be ashamed of yourselves. To not come out because of something that has been going on since installation. I do not recommend Kugel & Sons. They don't stand behind their work. They don't return phone calls. To spend over $6000.00 for a fireplace that doesn't work deeply saddens me. This is a classic example of "we have your money, so we can't/won't help you! Where has customer service gone?
