My rating is mainly for the drink selection and our bartender was super kind! I think aside from…read morebeing a billiard, it's a very nice dive bar. As a forewarning, however, the crowd this venue attracts is very off-putting lol (which the venue isn't responsible for). If you're someone who wants to play pool for fun, I would suggest going elsewhere. The crowd my fiancé and I encountered was strangely judgmental and seemingly took their games very seriously, with some people (who weren't even playing) just sitting around and staring at us. We played one game and ended up going somewhere more lively LOL. On the other hand, if you're an avid player and looking for somewhere to practice or connect with a competitive team, this is definitely the spot for you.

This is definitely a place where the old advice of "Don't judge a book by its cover" is a strong…read moreunderstatement. When approaching Good Timez, you're probably expecting a typical mom 'n pop dive bar, smoke filled, with a dart board, a couple pool tables and maybe a broken pinball machine or two. That's the way it certainly appears, at least from the exterior. However everything dramatically changes once you enter. Well, being real, it' still is a dive bar. Cheap drinks, plenty of ash trays, and a very friendly local staff. HOWEVER, this ain't you're Dads dive bar. The owner has a collection of boutique quality pinball machines that are reasonably priced and play exceptionally. He even runs regular pinball tournaments that are open to everyone (21+). Now let's discuss the "Billiard" part of the business. In what appears to be a separate building almost, there is the pool area. This definitely isn't a low brow dive bar couple of tables. This is truly serious business. The tables are all professional grade. The house cues are all perfectly straight and could even be used in competitive play. The felts are all meticulously maintained, and the icing on the cake, it's literally dirt cheap to play. As my kids and I rented a table we meandered through the pool area and noticed that we certainly weren't in Kansas any more. Most of all the billiard regulars all resembled characters from The Colour of Money. Watching some of their shots and the way they called their shots and respected the venue, it's obvious that this is where the pros and the hustlers come to play. But having said that, it's also where three idiots like me and my two kids go to screw around and sink the 8 ball 4x per game and scratch an innumerable number of times. Sure it's a little intimidating but it's also educational and certainly entertaining. Since our first visit we've been back 3 times and I even went a couple times by myself to work on my billiard game. This truly a great place to play, socialize, and appreciate on many levels.

I absolutely and I love with this hidden treasure and after my first visit here this year it is my favorite establishment in Las Vegas!!! I love a great tiki bar and am an avid pina colada/tiki cocktails lover. I also love rock n roll and am a vegetarian so when we decided to check it out for dinner I was very happy they had some vegetarian options for me!! The decor of this bar is an absolute dream and I am so so happy we were seated in the room with the shrunken heads. We were seated at the Sebastian Bach shrunken head table which is absolutely perfect because I love that guy!! Anyways, our server was incredible and super accommodating. There's a little hidden thing they have throughout the bar that I won't disclose on here to keep your eyes out for and it is so fun!! The drinks were all amazing, their shots are so good!! I know I'm leaving out an immense amount of detail but please know it is my favorite establishment in the Las Vegas area. 10/10 absolutely recommend!!

I'm a local and live nearby, so I was looking forward to finally checking it out. Unfortunately, the experience was soured right at the entrance. The security guard(black dude) wouldn't allow us to bring our water bottles and canteens inside. Given the Las Vegas heat, I found this policy unreasonable, especially when we were simply trying to stay hydrated. I didn't feel like arguing with the guy about it, so we decided not to go in. For context, four of us had walked about 25 minutes to get there. It was disappointing to make that effort only to turn around without even getting the opportunity to experience the place. We ended up at a neighboring bar that didn't complain about water. I understand businesses have rules to follow, but the way policies are enforced and how customers are treated at the door matter. Unfortunately, this was enough to put me off visiting, and it's a shame because I had been meaning to check the place out for a while.

MGM Grand Incident at Level Up…read more On Sunday, May 24, we came to Level Up at MGM Grand for Karaoke to celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday and Memorial Day. We were enjoying ourselves up until the following incident with the bartender Ray. I've dealt with busy bars, stressed staff, and occasional misunderstandings before, but this was on another level entirely. The bartenders communication skills were lacking from the start. We seem to be bothering him when trying to place orders. Not once were we greeted, welcomed or even asked if there was anything that we would like to order we had to call on him from across the bar for any type of service. What should've been a normal interaction turned hostile when the bartender demanded my husband owed him $6 for my Coke. My husband explained that he was gambling at the bar for the last half hour, but the bartender insisted he owed him $6 because I was not sitting there when he came with the drink, that he would not comp the beverage. Then came the request for him to place it on a tab so that we could move to a table closer to the stage. He outright refused to listen with dismissive responses, and instead of letting anyone finish speaking, he talked over my husband and daughter and escalated the situation. Rather than being professional, he became aggressive and confrontational immediately. The most frustrating part was being falsely accused of using profanity when no such act occurred. When my daughter told him he was being rude he shouted at her that she was rude and that's when the false claim was made that her boyfriend swore at him when he looked up at the man shouting at his girlfriend and had not said one word. Instead of resolving anything, the Bartender Ray took the incident personally and took it to the next level by calling Security to have us escorted out of Level Up, claiming we were irate, aggressive and he felt threatened by our presence, refusing us service. Despite this we remained composed yet justly upset and being publicly treated like we had done something wrong over a completely fabricated accusation was embarrassing and unnecessary. The security guard apologized and said he didn't understand why the bartender was so angry and that we did not need to leave the premise but needed to leave the venue. I understand customer service can be difficult, especially in a busy environment, but basic professionalism, listening skills and respectful communication should still be expected, especially in a tourism driven industry. Unless management seriously addresses how staff interacts with their customers I won't recommend this place and will never return. My husband is a retired veteran and I have over 30 years experience, in executive sales & customer service. I currently work in the hospitality industry for the largest 4 star resort in North America here in Las Vegas. I completely understand working with unreasonable customers, and we were not that in this instance. Far from it. We are very supportive and treat all service workers with respect. We are good paying customers that also gamble and all we expected was basic common courtesy. Retaliation toward paying customers is unacceptable and any employee in any situation that abuses power because they're having a bad day should be held accountable for their actions.

Came for a networking event and loved all the different spaces inside. They have the bar with great cocktails, 8-ball tables, karaoke, and golf simulation in the back. We ordered the Lemon Drop and Blue Hawaiian cocktails which were both delicious and well decorated. The food was equally good and they even had sushi!! The attendant who helped us, Mark I think, got us women's clubs for us to hit which was awesome as we were also just beginners playing for fun. It was well padded as I hit everything but the front most of the time. I like how it shows you a video of your swing after and how the ball just pops up from the grass on the tee, super neat!

With all of our food and drinks, our entire bill was only $160-something, which I thought was a really good deal for 4 people considering everything we got. I've been to quite a few virtual golf places, and this one has by far the best technology and setup I've experienced. Everything felt modern, easy to use, and really well put together. The employees were also outstanding , super friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our time there. They showed us how everything worked and were super patient too! We ordered a beer bucket, Yellow Bomb sushi roll, onion rings, sliders with sweet potato fries, and loaded fries. The Yellow Bomb was really good! The onion rings were great too, but that marinara sauce was FIRE. The sliders with the sweet potato fries were delicious, and the loaded fries were another favorite. The meat was so tender, soft, and flavorful. Between the quality of the golf setup, great service, good food and drinks, and happy hour pricing, this place really impressed us. It's perfect for a date night, double date, or a night out with friends. Definitely one of the better virtual golf experiences I've had, and we'll absolutely be back! (I was having too much fun and completely forgot about taking photos!)
