Good local choice for sushi. Great bar, nice atmosphere, superior sushi chef. Some interesting menu items like barbequed deep fried crawfish. (Tell them to go light on the sauce). You can order the paws roll and nothing else if you like saucy sushi. Interesting and flavorful. Overall a great place that we go back to again and again.

We go there as a family during the happy hour specials. I've attached a picture of their tuna small plate. It is AMAZING and only $6 during this time. There are plenty of choices for kids and it's very welcoming and low key at this time of the day as well. My husband gets the mussels and he said they are delicious! I also recommend the small plate tacos. Happy eating!

I'm giving Paws 4 stars specifically for my favorite time to go there...when Wednesday BOGO sushi night and Happy Hour collide! Every Wednesday after 5 Paws has buy one get one free sushi rolls fresh made by their sushi chef. I think it's about $8 for 2 orders of 6 rolls. In addition they have happy hour every night from 4-6 with drink specials and half off appetizers. If you can hit it at the right time, you can get a great deal on a bunch of great food! The perfect spot for grabbing dinner with friends!

I didn't expect too much from this restaurant located inside The Aurora Inn, but I was pleasantly…read moresurprised! We were nervous when we 1st walked in because we were the only ones there. Thankfully a table of 6 arrived shortly after we settled in. It was a weeknight and the weather was miserable so I'm sure that contributed to the lonely dining room. The menu is interesting and has something for everyone. I wish I knew how good the food was before we ordered because I would have been more adventurous and ordered the lamb chops. Instead I played it safe by ordering the strip steak. Excellent! My only complaint is that it only comes with one side. I chose asparagus and my husband ordered Brussels Sprouts. Both were fresh and cooked perfectly. Definitely get the Soup Trio with the Grilled Cheese! I wish every restaurant offered this. The tomato bisque was excellent and the chicken noodle was good too. But skip the pasta fagioli if it's the soup du jour. The steak tacos are another excellent choice. The meat used is the trimmings from the strip steak so it's tender and full of flavor. It also includes corn and a horseradish sauce. It's not traditional but it's great! They have brunch on the weekends with a Bloody Mary bar and lots of weekly specials like 2 for 1 dinners, burger night and $7 flatbreads. On Wednesdays they have karaoke in the adjacent Tavern so keep that in mind if you want a quieter experience. They have the same menu in the Tavern so you can join in the singing and still eat well.

We had high hopes that the brunch would be really good. Turns out it was a buffet (buffets are not…read moremy thing...at all). There was a very limited menu if we didn't get the buffet. Our waitress was sitting two tables down from us, eating. Our food took forever to come out. I ordered the Aurora breakfast, which is eggs, potatoes, bacon and a pancake. My husband had waffles - neither are meals that take a long time to cook. It was also not busy. We were one of two tables. Sure enough, when our food finally came out, it was cold. Maybe if our waitress hadn't been so concerned with her own meal ours would have been more enjoyable.

The burger was a frozen patty for $21 & I'm not even sure what was up with the fries but they were gross. The ambiance was campy & fun. I enjoyed the Christmas decor & off key piano player. A very basic Cesar salad with no meat or protein. I paid another $16 for my son to get some soupy spaghetti with runny marinara sauce. And that was the price for the kid's meal. Doesn't even come with a beverage. And then $18 for a small cup of lobster bisque. It was creamy, but didn't really appear to have more than one small piece of lobster. The soft drinks were 3 bucks a piece. That small amount of food plus a 20% tip came to over $70. This was lunch with my five year old. The place is gorgeous, and I hate to say it, but this is a one and done for me. The spa looks like it would be nice, but I didn't really get to see anything beyond the restaurant. Parking was easy late in the afternoon and it was not busy. I couldn't imagine coming here when it is crazy-busy. I understand the negative reviews. I am not necessarily a 4 but the ambiance feels like it should boost it beyond a 3. This is where the 3.5 could come in handy. But the value and average quality are pushing me to 3. I wish the food quality matched the amazing and stunning decor.

This was the first menu that truly excited me to try. This spot raises the bar for ohio food. The southern/ Cajun flair in the menu made my heart flutter. The Cajun shrimp and crawdad omelet was amazing but the bacon and gouda grits stole the show. I could eat my body weight in that dish. My only complaint for food is, I would have loved a louisiana hot sauce or some vinegar based hot sauce to go with it. Not gonna lie, our server definitely forgot about us, a few times but.... the food made up for it.

I recently had breakfast at Another Broken Egg Cafe in Streetsboro, and while the experience was…read morenot a disaster, it did feel like an expensive lesson in managing expectations. I was genuinely excited to find a place nearby serving eggs Benedict, since that is apparently now considered a rare regional specialty. The eggs Benedict itself was satisfying, and the decaf coffee was actually very good. It stayed hot, which was impressive because warmth was not exactly the theme of the rest of the experience. The custom mug was a nice touch, the silverware was clean, and my water glass was crystal clear, so points for clearing the very basic hurdles of public dining. That said, the details were where things started to drift. I asked whether I could get butter on the side for my English muffin and was told yes. When the food arrived, the butter had apparently chosen a different path in life. I selected the potatoes as my side, and they were dry and cold, which was a nice reminder that not all breakfast foods dream of being eaten. I also asked for cream with my decaf coffee and was given those little plastic peel-top cups of palm-oil creamer like the kind sitting beside a gas station coffee urn. It would have been helpful to know that beforehand, just so I could adjust my standards in advance. The service was probably the most disappointing part. My server never introduced herself, never said good morning, never welcomed me, and never asked how I was doing. The exchange had all the warmth and personality of renewing a vehicle registration. The first words out of her mouth were asking what I wanted to drink. Then whether I was ready to order. Then whether I was ready for the bill. Then she answered my question about whether I paid there or at the front. Finally, after the check, I did get a "have a good day," which was nice in the same way a closing credit is technically part of the movie. As an added bit of breakfast theater, I was seated near the kitchen entrance, while the table across the aisle featured what I mentally dubbed the Desperate Housewives of Streetsboro, carrying on a lively discussion about construction, a new kitchen, and the hand towels they were all apparently having to use in the meantime. It was less background ambience and more accidental community theater. For $21.87 for eggs Benedict, potatoes, and a decaf coffee, I expected a breakfast experience and not an exercise in emotional self-service. There were good elements here, but the missing butter, cold potatoes, fake creamer, and indifferent service made the whole thing feel more like a nicely plated inconvenience than a place I would be eager to revisit.
