The second time I asked for nothing more than a bath and they still did some grooming - again not the end of the world. Iggy seemed happy enough so I decided to stick with the place. Made an appointment for grooming 10 days ago. Spoke directly with the groomer who works on Iggy. She confirmed the appointment, gave me an appointment card and I got a text yesterday confirming the appointment again. I get there this morning and they act like they don't know why I am there. The groomer we use was in the back and for no readon she just started yelling - "I was told he's only getting a bath." Mind you - I hadn't said a word so something was off. She just kept screaming - I mentioned I wanted him groomed. She repeated "I was told he's only getting a bath." I don't know who she talking to but the only person she talked to that matters was me - I made the appointment - I asked for grooming. It was clear that she wasn't prepared to do what she promised and I didn't want her to take it out on my dog - which she looks fully capable of doing - so I said never mind I'll take him somewhere else and she muttered something to the effect "Fine then go." I won't be back and I'd caution anyone who values their time to be careful here.

I stumbled upon her place while visiting the DMV. With long line waits, I was scooping around the area when I saw her place. At first I was a little bit hesitant since I was use to taking them to Petsmart. And ever since, I've been taking my Saint Bernards, Old English, Old English Sheepdogs, and bulldog to Wendy. Considering these are large dogs, her prices are very reasonable and affordable. I'm not sure if she uses sedatives like other groomers do. But my dogs don't appear groggy when picked up. Nor do they refrain themselves when entering her place like they do with previous groomers. Wendy has done a wonderful job. She is highly recommended to care for your pets. Hopefully her prices will remain reasonable. Thank you very much for your grooming services. May your establishment prosper and remain in business forever.

I scheduled a grooming appointment for my Goldendoodle and was clearly told my appointment was at 9:00 a.m. They even hand-wrote "9am" on a business card. What they failed to explain -- verbally or in writing -- was that this was only a drop-off time and that my dog would be crated for an undisclosed amount of time before grooming. I was never informed that my dog would be crated at all. When I questioned this and explained that my dog has never been crated, I was dismissively told, "Well, you should have asked." That response alone was enough to tell me this place does not value communication or client trust. The environment was overwhelming -- at least seven dogs barking nonstop, owners' personal dogs running loose, while client dogs were caged. It was so loud that conversation was nearly impossible. Nothing about this felt calm, organized, or professional. They also insisted on vaccination records, yet the staff member barely glanced at the paperwork, flipping through it without actually reviewing anything. When they finally offered to refund my $20 deposit, I immediately accepted. I would not leave my dog here. The place did not look clean, expectations were not explained, and staff friendliness disappeared the moment concerns were raised. I would strongly caution pet owners -- especially those with dogs who are not crate-trained -- to look elsewhere
