- I will start by saying with my first visit last week Mrs. Weaver ( hope I'm spelling correctly )…read moreis an amazing vet. We brought 1 of my 3 fur babies in last wk & informed her that all of them are experiencing extreme itching, patches, & dry scaly spots. She tested for flea ticks & mites, came back clear & she also performed a skin scrap. Prescribed her steroids & something for the infected skin. Amazing lady. I called the following wk to bring my other fur baby & called prior to my visit & asked to have the same vet we just had ( Mrs. Weaver ) I'm big on 1st faces & comfort. I was told that it will be her again. Get there & it's 2 completely different vets, NOT Mrs. Weaver at all. This specific vet ( Dr. Nunnally ) damn near seemed scared to come towards Gelato. Stood by the door until I distracted him with treats. Basically, came in asked what day did we come in with other dog, said she was going to check the paperwork & came back with medication that was given to my other dog. Literally in & out. Honestly thinking notes are kept & communication is tight, didn't think anything of it ( my babies do have allergies ) until I got home to give him meds & notice he only had steroid NOT the medication for infected skin. So I called back to ask about it, 24hrs later I'm told the vet ( Dr. Nunnally )didn't see the need to because no skin rash was present ( I'll post picture of his skin irritation that she claim he never had because she was too scared to look ) she clearly missed it because it's been going on with them for 3wks, I even had to send pictures & was told I'd have to pay for another visit when it should have been done RIGHT when we brought him & informed them that day. Hell, even the receptionist tried it saying " no she didn't miss it, in her notes she doesn't have skin irritation" like YOU WEREN'T THERE ! It truly doesn't matter atp what she did note because it was CLEARLY false. Gelato was 100x calmer than Queen was & Mrs. Weaver manage to get it done right. It doesn't matter if the revisit was $200 $50 $10 or $2 it's the fact that it wasn't done when he came in so WHY should we have to pay for her ( Dr. Nunnally ) mistake ? Everyone makes mistakes it okay, it's truly just the principal. Mrs. Weaver, however, is Heaven Sent. She gave this place a star in MY opinion. Establishment is beautiful but I'll definitely pay my money towards a vet that gives af.

Great doctors, staff and service. Open 6 days a week which is great in case of emergency situation…read more Researched 7 different nearby vets and while a few others met the criteria, the close proximity edged out the others. Our large Bully was well treated with ease. Will now bring our two cats here as well.

We have gone here for over a year. Using their grooming and vet services. Everything has been ok…read moreuntil 3 weeks ago. We took our dog to get groomed. She went in perfectly fine & came out with 1 eye completely shut. The next few days her right eye could barely open & when she could open it, her eye ball was droopy. Through multiple vet visits with them, they would never give us an answer about what happened. They ordered us a steroid and pain medication. Mistakes happen, but usually people try to make up for those mistakes. No word about what happened to our dog. "We don't want to speculate", yet they took pictures after whatever incident happened. Obviously something went wrong while our dog was here. We finally decided to get away from this place, went to a new vet. Gave our got an anti-inflammatory and her eye is close to being back to normal. Stay very far away from the grooming service. Dr.Gladden was nice, but I wish she would have decided to give us an anti-inflammatory to speed this process up. All in all we spend over $700 and still have no clue what happened to our dog after multiple questions. We will never go back.

If you've been away for a while, take a chance and come back. Let's be honest, if you came to…read moreBrowns Bridge Animal Hospital (BBAH) during the days of Dr. Vitali & Dr. Watson, and continued to come to BBAH after they left, you probably have a bitter taste in your mouth. The rotating staff, management and vets that came in after Vitali, et al, left were abysmal. Many/most of the old clients left after terrible experiences, some truly heartbreaking. We, too, left & took our dog to a vet across town, with whom we had no problems. The new vet was nice, competent, we liked him well enough, but it was inconvenient. A friendly letter to old clients announcing a new owner/vet encouraged me to @ least give BBAH one more try. I went to see Dr. Hall w/my 11 y.o lab mix and really liked him. I liked him enough to let him do a knee surgery that she needed. He recommended a less expensive, more conservative surgery due to her age, which I appreciated. He did a great job, was nice, friendly and responded well to questions. But hey, it's still an expensive surgery, so I thought maybe it was just good business for him to be nice pre/post-op and follow-up. Recently, however, my old girl developed a rapidly growing lump on her belly. I took her in, expecting the worst. Initially, he recommeded, not surprisingly, surgical removal. We talked a bit and I expressed concern about repeated anesthesia at her age. We talked about the risk/benefit and we mutually decided to take a step back and go for a "wait and see" approach. He made sure that I was comfortable monitering the growth, even though removal might be the "ideal option". If it grows, we'll remove it, if it doesn't, and its not bothering her, then we'll continue to moniter it. I now feel comfortable he's not just being nice to me (& my dog) because he's looking to do a money making surgery. He recommended the "text book" right answer (surgical removal b/c it grew rapidly), but listened to and considered my concerns and together we came up with a plan of care with which we all feel comfortable. Dr. Vitali left some huge shoes to fill, but I think I have found a vet I am really beginning to trust. I can attest to Dr. Hall's surgical skill thanks to my dog's successful knee surgery. More importantly, perhaps, I am beginning to trust him as a good, honest, thoughtful vet that genuinely cares about my dog. That, as most pet owners know, is a trait that is priceless! If you left BBAH for the same reasons most of us did, consider going back :-) I'm a new fan.

Stay far away! My…read moredog had a laceration that needed medical attention. Google shows that they are open until 1, but we called and were told that they were open until 3 today. We arrived at 12:10. The place was deserted and the employees were on their cell phones. I was told that they couldn't see my pup because they don't take patients after noon on Saturdays. We were only 10 minutes past the cutoff. Staff was on site and not busy, but still couldn't tend to my injured pup. What does that tell you about how they treat animals? If that's what they do in front of a customer, imagine what goes on behind closed doors! Run, don't walk, away from this vet clinic who clearly does not care for the well-being and health of animals.
