My dog used to shake with anxiety when we went to the vet- not anymore. When he went in for surgery, the front desk staff let him hang out with them before and after surgery. Two…read moreweeks later, I noticed a large mass on the bottom of my dogs foot that was ulcerated and bleeding. I contacted the clinic to have her seen and was told it would be a couple of weeks, that they were "just overwhelmed". I explained that my dog had just been seen in the last 2 weeks and was very concerned that this mass was not even seen during her "routine examination". They were not helpful and would not budge on allowing me to see or speak to the vet. I told them I would come up to retrieve my dogs records and take her elsewhere. I arrived at the veterinary clinic shortly thereafter to find that there was not a car in the parking lot and no one in the waiting room. I find their concern for our animals to be less than optimal! I later found out that the mass was a malignant melanoma as well as another lesion on her body that the vet told me was "nothing to be worried about". She now has less than four months to live. I would not recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone!

Max has unfortunately been the victim of two separate attacks from aggressive off leash dogs. Their staff has been very supportive of his healing. Their record keeping is incredible and they can usually guess what we're calling about before we even book the appointment because they know all of his information. Max is so excited every time he knows we're going to the vet and wags his tail the whole time!

Conveniently located for us and with a small but friendly staff, they helped some of our older animals with chronic conditions. Dearest to my heart was my Maine Coon mix, whose life I'm sure they extended by at least a year after his kidneys started to fail in old age. But alas, his day finally came recently, and we knew that it was time to say goodbye. On the sad day, the tech greeted me at the front desk and took me back to a private room. I'll spare the details, but suffice it to say that the staff was caring and compassionate, and allowed me a few minutes with him as he slipped off into a deep sleep that would lead him to kitty cat kingdom come. The office was surprisingly peaceful (no hyper dogs barking or the like), with gentle music playing in the background as I said goodbye. Despite the inevitable tears and the sad occasion, I couldn't have imagined a better place or way to say goodbye. A few days later, I was touched to also receive a handwritten sympathy card at my house with a poem and their condolences at having to say that hard goodbye. It's that sort of extra touch in addition to their great care that makes them stand out.
