It feels more industrial than anything else. But the massage parlor is unexpectedly charming. It's small, but nice. When I went there were two friendly Chinese gentlemen there, apparently father and son. Neither speaks much English, just a bit, but it was enough to get by, and the younger man speaks Swedish. We were given sandals to wear in the parlor and led upstairs, where both I and my partner, who was just accompanying me, were invited to sit in massage chairs. My partner speaks some Chinese, and proceeded to chat and laugh away the time with the older man, while the younger gave me a pedicure. It was very well-done and so relaxing, complete with herbs and a foot massage. Also, we were offered cup after cup of delicious Chinese herbal tea - the language barrier prevented me from finding out exactly what type of tea it was, but it was a flower which was slightly reminiscent of rosemary. They actually have the tea available for sale at a good price downstairs, and I insisted on buying some - and they were kind enough to give us a discount since we also had a treatment. The parlor is clean and fresh and beautifully decorated, and the service is great, even if knowing which language to use can get in the way. On the whole it was a wonderful experience, and the price list is not-at-all intimidating - great for what you get!

I got a late appointment (17:40), but the ladies at the front desk were still very friendly and peppy, which I appreciated. My beautician, Lena, met me exactly at my appointment time. This could be because the salon closes at 18:00, but there were no frills and we got straight to business. Lena was friendly, quick, and a great conversationalist. Two days later there are no bumps, no redness, and everything feels wonderful. Now, I've seen a few salons with cheaper Brazilians (here I paid 450 kr), but I'm very wary of those places. I think the price I paid is about average in Stockholm. It's perfectly reasonable price in my opinion, especially considering taxes and tip are already included (Come on, US, accept this system already!). I already have my 2nd appointment booked, and will continue to come here as long as the service continues to be fantastic.
