The setting was lovely, the service was pretty good, and everyone was enjoying their evening. We ordered the goat cheese and berry salad. The goat cheese is a large slice, not crumbles, as I am used to in the States. It's a wonderful meal; don't be surprised if you get full because of the cheese. In all of Stare Miasto in Warsaw, this was the only place that sold Gołąbki with Veal (Polish Stuffed Cabbage Rolls)! It was great to have one of my favorite meals without the pork option! The tomato sauce was delicious, and the portion was wonderful. Rosół was also ordered; it's a broth soup with dumplings, and that was thoroughly enjoyed. There were two servers out on the patio, and they were very attentive and working very hard. Wonderful service, great food, and lovely atmosphere.

There's both a walk-up counter, where you can get zapiekanki, or you can sit down inside. I ate inside and had some nice pierogi and some other miscellaneous foods. There's an entire menu page just for hot chocolate, by the way. It looked very tasty, and I ordered the orange chocolate thing, and it didn't quite sit well with me. The chocolate was rich and creamy, and the orange flavor was nice, but something about the way the two flavors blended didn't do it for me. Oh, well. Perhaps the other options are better. The food was probably more 3 stars, but for the price, and the servers speaking English so well, I bumped up to four. If you're a foodie, don't come here, but otherwise, good stuff, good prices, good service. Bathrooms: Clean and functional.

Right on Krakowskie Przedmieście street, it's hard to miss if you are making your way to old town. I stopped here for breakfast looking for local flavor and a local experience. Although the menu here tries to accommodate for international tastes, you can still get good Polish staples like sausage, cucumbers in sandwiches, etc. We ordered "three eggs with chorizo" and the "traditional sandwich". PRO-TIP: if you order the three eggs plate, ask for a side of toasted bread. It makes the fried eggs and chorizo so much better. The traditional sandwich was quite a bit of food. I'd say get it if you're really hungry or want to share. There is no free WIFI here, which can be a problem for some. I was okay because I have data on my phone. Also indoor space is very limited, so beware if you're heading here seeking refuge from cold weather. Why 4 and not 5 stars? Service was a bit slow. And I really mean a bit (almost perfect), the food was good but nothing spectacular, and coffee servings come in coffee cups, so the servings are rather short. Regardless, I recommend this place!!

I've had some excellent lunches that are almost like having a gourmet meal. The chefs are very good!! Here are a few issues I have with this place. It is not consistent. Sometimes the lunches are amazing and fresh, sometimes they taste like they are a day or two old and put in an oven or microwave for reheating. They used to offer this beet veggie burger and it was the BEST veggie burger I've ever had, but they removed it from the menu and replaced it with a veggie burger that is disgusting and tastes like it has egg mayonnaise paste spread all over it. Please go back to the Beet Veggie burger. Lastly, the customer service with the waiters could be a bit better as far as friendliness/cleanliness goes. Thank you!
