The quality is always fresh and reasonably priced whenever you are needing a boulangerie fix at this Paul location. Very accessible from busy Earls Court Rd. in Kensington. There are some tables for dine in and you can always have yours take out, take away, or to-go. The strawberry yogurt is especially a wonderful complement to your pastry. Service is quick but always courteous. Stop by early to avoid long lines during morning rush.

Very nice pastry shop that has some really awesome sandwiches and desserts. The desserts look like they are works of art! I felt like a kid in a candy story. I did not know what to choose. In the end, I ordered a cup of tea and a baguette (cheese, rocket, prosciutto, and poppy seeds on the bread). Wow! The baguette was delicious and was a descent size. Perfect place for a snack, lunch, or breakfast on the go.

Normally, I really enjoy Paul. I've eaten at them in Paris and Madrid. I was super excited when I saw that there was one right by our hotel in Earl's Court. However, this one didn't live up to what I have come to expect from this chain. Paul has a great selection of French style sandwiches and pastries. My perennial favorite is the Quiche Lorraine. The first day I tried to dine here they were out by around 9am. Bummer! However, when I did eventually get it later in the week I found the crust to a bit thick and on the dry side. One day the egg part of my quiche was totally burnt. My husband tried the croque madame and ham and egg croissant. He was not impressed with either. Both lacked meat in his opinion. The coffee and the chai were still top notch and the service was still quick and efficient. Prices are reasonable.

This location in London's Earls Court was our first experience of the international bakery chain, Paul. Instead of having a full breakfast at our hotel at Premier Inn, coming here was the best option for pastries and coffee on the go. Since it was a cold and overcast kind of morning I went with the "Mochaccino" (3 GBP). For a small 12 oz. it was packed with chocolate and mocha flavors. Although sweet, they did a good job making it and it kept me cozy. "Croissant Amandes" (2.35 GBP). It was a good size croissant, that said it was a little dense and dry in between the bread. I did like the amount of almond toppings and the powdered sugar gives it a little sweetness to did. This choice was just okay. "Flan Normand Slice" (3.45 GBP). This was an interesting pastry because its a combination of tart and custard. It's filled with apples and almonds. The textures are delicate so it can fall apart easily. My only compliant was the service, there was a lady who was preparing orders for me and she was rushing during the peak morning hours, therefore I ended up getting a Quiche and Egg Toast not the Ham & Egg Toast I requested. I didn't want to fall back in line to fix the order, the cashiers were too busy handling customers. When you see Paul from the outside, the place catches your attention with its classic look, also the inside as well. Its a feel good cafe for travelers and locals.

Adorable cafe. Amazing array of pastries. The croque with spinach and goat cheese was amazing. Set in the most quaint little street.

It's pretty hard to find a great selection of truly healthy foods in London. Fortunately, this…read morehealth food supermarket makes up for that with its sizable quantity of high quality foods and beverages, as well as vitamins, protein powders, teas, premium organic coffees, and then some. The prices are quite hefty as is to be expected with these sorts of products, but if you play your cards right and get a few healthy products here and there and incorporate them into your diet a little bit at a time, you can get the most for your money and not have to spend a fortune every week. They also have a cool little juice bar that sells fresh-pressed juices, smoothies, and pretty good coffee...which you can add to said juices and smoothies if you're a caffeine addict, like me.

Although their products are all fresh and organic they do come with a hefty price at times... But it's worth it. If you don't want to shop for drinks and food to take home then consider going to the deli bar and grabbing a bite to eat and a coffee or juice. Their juice are superb and made right in front of you so you can see it is all fresh and not just pre produced. The coffees are amazing when going for their weirder ones made some of the health products in store.

Extremely disappointed!…read more I was visiting London from the States and I was so excited to find the power yoga company on yelp. It was just a few train stops away from my hotel. So I grabbed my ID, Oyster card, and some cash and ran out the door on my last day in London to take class. They don't take cash (didn't see that on their site and I'd been to a few sites that stressed they only take cash). I explained to the desk girl and a teacher that I didn't bring my cards and I was leaving London early tomorrow morning and was really looking forward to a class. They just kept repeating "sorry we don't take cash." Seriously? That was all they had to offer was "we don't take cash." I offered to pay the exact amount, just in case they don't have change - Nope. I suggested maybe I give one of them the cash and if they could buy class for me - NOPE. What great karma practice on their end - NOT! I'm a yoga teacher in DC at a very popular yoga studio. We often get visitors from other countries and other states, students who have forgotten wallets and didn't realize they were out of classes, students who really NEED some yoga or were looking forward to yoga that day. You know what we do? We let them in for free! It's really not that difficult. And I wasn't even asking for free yoga! I had money. Exact change and they refused to take it. They should review their best practice for rare situations like this. Because the way this was handled by two staff members was ridiculous. I considered going back with my card but why bother? They clearly do not have a Karma practice. And I can't believe that they are leading teacher training programs! Horrible!

I've been here 4 times now, attending classes with a different instructor each time, and have tried…read morethe Level 1, All Levels, and Flow and Restore classes thus far. Two of my visits have been on weekday evenings; the Flow and Restore was a Sunday evening, and I took 1 class on a Sunday morning at 8 AM (1st class of the day). I've enjoyed all the classes I've taken so far, and would definitely come back regularly. My favorite class has been the All Levels class, which I've attended twice. It definitely helps to have yoga experience beforehand, as this class goes pretty quickly and an explanation of what the poses are tends to be cursory but not super descriptive. I found that I got a very satisfying and sweaty workout from this class, and it was easy to adapt or make adjustments based on your personal level of practice. In contrast, the Level 1 class was definitely more suited for beginners, since the instructor made sure to describe and show each pose, and the class moved at a slower pace. All of the instructors I've had so far have been nice and good about making corrections in a constructive but unobtrusive way. Three of the classes I've taken have been in the downstairs studio, which is larger. The Level 1 class I took was in the upstairs studio, which was smaller. I believe that class also had a limited number of spots and the mats were all laid out for us when we arrived (in the downstairs studio you get and set up your mats/blocks yourself). The mats were really close together and I was always knocking into the person next to me, or the wall (I was at the end of a row of mats), which detracted from my experience a bit. I probably won't take the Level 1 class again, but I really liked the other classes I took in the downstairs studio. The changing rooms are nice and pretty clean; I think the floors are heated, which is nice. There are hooks from which to hang bags/coats but you leave your valuables at the front desk, where they give you a cubby # for when you come back to collect them. There is also 1 sink and a couple of showers in the ladies' changing room (can't speak for the men's). The changing rooms have fewer amenities than I've seen at the American studios I've been to, but they're definitely serviceable and welcoming (and I never used many of the amenities at my American studios anyway). Mats and blocks are provided, as well as washcloths and cleaning spray with which to wipe down the mats at the end of class. Even when attending class in the larger downstairs studio, I would recommend arriving early because the classes are pretty popular and floor space fills up fast. I usually arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of the scheduled class time but I've never been the 1st one there. When attending the 8 AM Sunday morning class, the studio was open at 7:45, although the reception desk was unmanned for a few minutes after 7:45 since the staff was setting up. This is a great studio to practice at, with a good range of instructors. You can definitely get a good workout from the All Levels class or a good introduction from the Level 1 class.
