Unfortunately the crew was comprised of 6 men. 3 who came to work and worked very hard, 3 who spent more time avoiding work and on their phones than actually working. The 3 who didn't come to work dropped a small-ish tree on our house, damaging a gutter sufficiently to require replacement which Barone's did pay for. the flagpole and antique planter they damaged Barone's didn't pay to replace. The crew also dropped a tree on our relatively new fence. Barone's did replace the fencing, I'm left to stain it to match. In spite of my walking the team lead around the property and pointing out where our septic line ran one of the aforementioned 3 amigos who came to collect pay versus work drove a bobcat over the line and broke it in multiple places. And this, ladies and gentleman, is damage I am extremely upset about. Because I only showed the team where the line was and didn't mark it with flags Barone's, who is licensed, insured and bonded, refuses to cover the repairs. Now my wife and I are left to have our septic system repaired out of pocket in addition to having to pay another company to come in and complete the debris clean up. Bad on me for assuming an insured company would actually cover damage they caused. I may as well have hired a non-licensed, non-insured crew. I hate this is where we've ended up. In the past Barone's has done truly excellent work for us. But I cannot recommend them to anyone after this debacle.

He immediately got in contact with the home's real estate agent, and set up a showing for us. He was there to answer all the questions during all hours of the day and night, and helped lead us through the entire negotiation and buying process. Every appointment we made, whether it was meeting with a roofer to do an inspection, a home inspection, a tree inspection, meeting the owners, you name it, he was there, taking notes, and helping us make wise and informed decisions. We closed on our dream home just a few weeks ago. We went from not even wanting to buy a house, to new home owners in just a matter of 6 weeks or so. What a whirlwind! We could not have done it without Damon. We highly recommend him.

I have my bank set up for automatic bill pay to Cimarron 2 weeks before the due date.  For some reason, one month Cimarron decided that one of my regular payments was "additional to principal".  Unsurprisingly, the next payment never arrived and I was past-due.  They made no attempts to contact me, I only found out when my statement arrived with late fees.  This has happened twice now.  This last time, I called customer service a dozen times during the workday without getting an answer. Message machine says all representatives are busy and to check the website.  The website will not let me log in, and tells me to call customer service.  When I finally got someone on the line and explained my problem, I got a "Let me transfer you" response.  After that, the call dropped and I had to call them up again.  I had to explain myself 4 times because my transferred call was dropped 3 times and no one knew what I was talking about the next time I got through.  I finally got someone, they told me exactly what I needed to send to shore up the difference and get me back on track.  I specifically asked how much there was in late fees, to ensure that I absolutely did not owe any more to them for that period.  I sent that amount as soon as I got off the phone, on 4/27. Lo and behold, this current statement I just received today has an additional late fee that was not there before.   I understand that many people have no control over their mortgage company since they get bought and sold frequently.  However, if you get stuck with Cimarron I suggest you refinance with someone else.

I wrote a letter explaining the situation (and when I mailed the payment) to Mark F. of Cimarron. He then sent me an email explaining that he canceled the late charge. Case closed.
