The day after my tummy tuck and liposuction, I returned to Dr. Paul's clinic for a follow up visit. My stomach is flat and smooth!

TUMMY TUCK, LIPOSUCTION & FAT TRANSFER REVIEW: I had lost over 70 lbs and despite intense workouts I could not get rid of my loose belly skin and love handles. I also was not pleased that my butt had all but disappeared during my weight loss. I knew cosmetic surgery and a fat transfer was the answer but I did not know which plastic surgeon to choose. My quest was made easier after I was recommended to Dr. Paul Chugay. THE CONSULTATION: I felt very comfortable with Dr. Paul right away. He explained to me about the procedures I would need and showed me before and after photos. I came prepared with questions and he had all the answers and was very honest. I knew I could trust him. THE BIG DAY: I was nervous! Yet, Dr. Paul's staff had already briefed me weeks before on what I needed to do before and after my surgery. They had already taken the steps to confirm that I was a good candidate for cosmetic surgery. I knew I was in good hands. "THE A-TEAM": When I got up onto the operating table my heart was beating fast! The anesthesiologist told me not to worry. "We are the A- Team". He was right. I do not even remember when I closed my eyes. All I know is that when I opened my eyes several hours later I had a new body. Dr. Paul removed 4 pounds of excess abdominal skin and almost 2 liters of fat from my back and hips. The fat was transferred to my buttocks. For the first time in decades, I saw my belly button. I almost fainted from joy. GOING HOME: Dr. Paul called me the night of the surgery to see how I was doing! The first 3 days are the most delicate so you should make sure you have someone with you to help you get around. I had no pain at anytime during my surgery and recovery. The only discomfort I felt was when I had to take a shower. You do feel light headed afterwards so be careful. It is important that you follow Dr. Paul's instructions to the letter. DRIVING, WALKING, GYM & DIET: I was walking unassisted about 5 days after my surgery and driving my car 9 days after my surgery. Every day you get stronger and stronger. I was back in the gym 17 days after my surgery BUT I was only walking on a treadmill for 20 min. No heavy lifting until Dr. Paul gave me the green light. I followed a light diet of soups, crackers, jello, egg whites and lots of water. Stay away from soda, liquor and cigarettes! You will need fiber to help with your bowel movements. 6 weeks after my surgery I was running again. I ran 7.2 miles in 80 min and I didn't stop once! 3 MONTHS LATER: I feel amazing and I am glad I had my surgery. I cannot express how thankful I am to Dr. Paul and his incredible staff. They truly are "The A-Team" and they care about their patients. My stomach is flat and firm and my butt is just as it was when I was in my 20's. The surgical scar is not visible as it is below the underwear line and it is getting lighter every day. My self-esteem is high and my confidence is through the roof. Most importantly, I am healthy and achieving my goals and for that I am grateful to Dr. Paul Chugay and his "A-Team". I wish you all health and happiness. Trust Dr. Paul Chugay. I do!

Where would the cosmetic surgery take place? At the address provided here or at a nearby hospital? I'm looking towards getting a breast augmentation

The surgery takes place at one of Dr.Chugay's clinics. You are released the same day. I recommend calling Dr. Chugay for a free consultation so you can see where the surgery takes place. You won't be disappointed.

Hello how much is for the consultation?

The consultation is free of charge. Appointments are available in Long Beach and Irvine.

I've been getting treatments for a long time, so I pay attention to technique, and she was so careful, thorough, and intentional with everything she did. She made me look so much more refreshed and balanced while still looking completely natural. I left feeling so beautiful and happy with the results. What I also love is that they offer so much in one place. I started my weight loss meds there too, and I'm already planning to come back for a surgery consult and a facial.

Prior to this consultation I submitted photos and had multiple phone conversations with the patient coordinator Abagail. Abagail spent a long time with me on the phone answering all of my questions and was very helpful. We spent a lot of time searching for the right date to schedule the surgery, considering how long I would need for rehab, when my husband would be available to drive me afterwards, arranging a dog sitter, scheduling my pre-op appointment and all of the details which must be arranged around the surgery date. We finally agreed on the date of Thursday, September 18, 2025. I told my husband the date. He arranged his schedule of work, travel and meetings to be available during that time, I scheduled the dog sitter, I went to my pre-op appointment, I got clearance from my cardiologist and I was all ready to go on Thursday, Sept. 18. Then I went in for my consultation with Dr. Waltzman who I liked very much. We decided I would be a good candidate for the brachioplasty. He explained the likely outcome and the details of the rehab. He was also kind enough to let me know that I am not a good candidate for skin tightening procedures at my age, due to the lack of enough collagen to get good results from skin tightening procedures. I was very happy to then go to Abagail's office to pay for the procedure and finalize the schedule. That was when Abagail casually informed me that the date she and I had so carefully chosen, the one I had spent so much time making arrangements for, with my husband and his work, my dog sitter, my cardiologist, and my primary care doctor- she informed that this date was no longer available. I was so shocked when Abagail very casually informed me that she had given that surgery date to someone else. I asked her why she had not let me know that the date I had so carefully arranged for was a tentative date. She said that her policy was to not give priority to anyone. My response was that she certainly gave priority to someone else for that date when she had already promised it to me. Abagail declined to apologize to me or to acknowledge that she should have told me the date was tentative. She declined to be accountable at all for putting me in such an inconvenient position. I felt that I had been betrayed, or misled or manipulated or disrespected by this person who refused to take any responsibility. I followed up by calling and speaking to who I was told was the office manager at that time, whose name I do not remember. We had a very helpful conversation where I explained to the manager my experience with Abagail and how inconvenienced I was by being given a surgery date that was so casually withdrawn with no acknowledgement at all that she should have made it clear to me this date was tentative. The manager listened politely and thanked me for the feedback. I thought that was the end of the issue until yesterday. Yesterday I tried calling the Waltzman Institute to schedule a consultation for injections in my lower face. However, Makayla, who I spoke to today, said she had never spoken to me before, and is now the office manager. Makayla very authoritatively informed me that The Waltzman Institute is refusing to have me as a client. So today I learned that the Waltzman Institute has chosen to ignore a potential client's attempts at providing, what some professionals would consider to be valuable feedback. I am disappointed at this response and at how this supposed professional patient coordinator at a reputable medical practice was able to act in such an unprofessional way, refuse to own up to what she did, and then convince other staff members to not listen to me or to consider my feedback. These types of experiences are the most valuable learning experiences for all us, except for those who refuse to hear or listen to feedback, or for those who can't acknowledge their own accountability for their own mistakes, as in his case, when a client calls them on their responsibility to inform the client of all pertinent information pertaining to the surgical date. Before this encounter with Abagail, I was impressed with Dr. Waltzman, and I felt that, to him, earning the trust of his patients is a very important part of his practice. It is ironic that his own patient coordinator, along with the current office manager, should go behind his back to erode that trust . When I spoke to Makayla today, she verbally included Dr. Waltzman himself as one of the decision-makers who voted to ban me from his practice. However, I think that Dr. Waltzman will be ashamed when he learns of this sabotage. I hope that Abagail will at some point grow a seed of how to acknowledge her mistakes and learn that listening to feedback can be personal growth material.

Hi to anyone and everyone that want to listen to My experience with Doctor Hicks and there staff…read more My first visit for Breast argumentation with Dr. Hicks was back In 2009. Well let me go back a little before I met Doctor Hicks and there staff. I did research, well I thought I found the perfect Doctor in Fontana, California. That's were my nightmare began. He charged me 1500 extra for a breast lift that I didn't need also he didn't perform, he also put saline implants when I ask for silicone Less then a year, one of the implants start to leak and they had to replace them. Now mine you I had ask can he go under the breast to insert implants he told me the best way is to go through the nipple, he was the doctor and I believed him. I didnt worry. I had insurance, I still wasn't aware what type of doctor I was dealing with. (My fault) I go for my second surgery. Which was the worst. After surgery the bottom of my stomach was swollen I felt like, something wasn't right, but glad I was alive and my implants were replaced. The worst experience in my life. Year and half those implants leak Now I'm sad and I wasn't going back to that doctor. So I started a Google research again and came across Doctor Pearlman Hicks. Wow!!! The best Doctor and right in my city. Ya!! Doctor Pearlman changed my life. Let me say this when he took my implants out back in 2009, My third surgery. I had two different implants, saline and I had ask for silicone twice that crazy doctor did what he wanted to my body, I Thank God I made it through. Doctor Pearlman did my argumentation surgery under the breast. And I had the best Tits and I was happy. I went far out thinking thats where the good doctors are. Not true my lesson was a hard one to learn. Don't make the same mistakes. But unfortunately my body reject those implants and I had to replace them I had capsular contracture so now going for my fourth and final surgery on 8/26/22. I wasnt afraid and felt very comfortable in doing so. Thanks Doctor Pearlman and staff. Oh!! Wait the lady name Ms. Norma I felt so close to her she made me feel like she was family. Thanks again everyone. My surgery date was 8/26/22 I can actually say once again I have the best full Tits. And very little scaring .

I had a breast implant exchange with Estea, previously had breast augmentation at another center…read moreand was not satisfied with my results 2 years ago. Dr.K here at Estea understood the assignment. I finally have the results I wanted. He listens to the patient and explains the procedure. I was nervous about the procedure being done as I am awake and under local anesthesia, but he was very reassuring. To be honest I now prefer surgery awake under local anesthesia, my recovery seemed a lot faster and I did not have to experience the general anesthesia side effects. Also, DR J was there during the surgery she is also great. The entire experience from the first consult to surgery to recovery has just been wonderful. His team is great. I highly recommend coming here for your next cosmetic procedure. I have a second procedure already placed a payment here for my tummy tuck in the summer and I can't wait.

Beyond impressed!!! a dream surgery experience from start to finish!!…read more I cannot say enough amazing things about my experience with Dr. K and his team. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely cared for!! not just as a patient, but as a person. Every single staff member I encountered was warm, kind, and incredibly attentive. Debbie and Karen, the surgery coordinators, were absolute gems! they made the whole process seamless, organized, and calm. I had an awake breast implant exchange with a lift, as well as a c section scar revision. as a double C-section veteran, I can honestly say it was a cake walk. The vibe was comforting and even fun. we had music playing on the Alexa, and the entire procedure flew by. I expected to be nervous, but I was surprisingly relaxed the whole time. Dr. K was incredibly attentive, reassuring, and present throughout the procedure, checking in constantly and making me feel 100% safe in his hands. As someone who frequents med-spas and has tons of fear and anxiety about anything and everything that could go wrong, , I came in with high standards for safety, cleanliness, and surgical precision -- and I was deeply impressed on all fronts. The facility was spotless (and can we talk about the iconic '90s decor? I love it), parking was easy, and everything felt smooth and professional. It's only been a few hours since surgery, but my results already look beautiful and the experience itself has exceeded every expectation. I also paid a very reasonable price for such a high level of care and expertise -- something that can be hard to find in aesthetics. This wasn't just a surgery -- it was a positive, empowering, even enjoyable experience. I feel incredibly lucky to have found this team. HIGHLY recommend.
