We had the tender picanha, which was served on a hot plate and came with a great farofa a good amount of rice and vinaigrete. Servers were very friendly. Caipirinha and limonada suissa were perfect. Just an excellent place to spend the afternoon. It's quite far out there along a dirt road, so not likely to be packed. In our case, four families + a few dirt bikers. We had a quick look at the pousada too. The pool looks very nice but unsheltered from the sun. They have apartments for R180 and chalets with a fire place (may be needed in winter) for around R240. Breakfast is included in that price.

Seating is on a wide open deck (only to the wind; it's covered against rain and sun) with great views. There is a small but well maintained play area for kids. Plenty of parking too. Food is prepared to share and comes in huge portions. Take half-size if you're with just two. Prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is open only on weekends and holidays. On Sundays there usually is live music (MPB, bossa nova, etc.). We will be back as it is one of the best out-of-city countryside restaurants we have so far encountered in the Belo Horizonte region.

Feijão Tropeiro, Quiabo,…read morevarious meats, salads, etc. The salad bar and desserts play second fiddle to the hearty main offerings. Serving goes by weight for a relatively steep price; but it's very tasty. Seating is 'outside' in the food court. This place is worth a visit (if you happen to be in this mall).
