I am a very satisfied customer of Patriot Tree Service. A tree needed to come down at a rental house of mine in Charleston, WV. I had called first another tree company, wasn't totally at peace with estimate or the lack of communication regarding the tree/property. I went online, made a call to Patriot, noting 5 star rating. Spoke with Rick, the owner who had the opportunity within a couple of hours to visit and give an assessment/estimate. Comparatively, Rick went into much detail regarding the tree as it was tall, dead and dangerous. Also, told me of limbs hanging on the roof that the other company did not even mention. The work was completed safely and efficiently today. I felt he pricing was fair to me and justifiable for their skills. My renter who is very particular was well pleased. Afternoon of Christmas Eve 2022, when everything was closed; I had an emergency situation when I realized a fallen tree (held only by vines) was ready to take out my power lines. They responded right away and regardless of the below zero temperatures the climber came and took down the tree safely. He also pointed out the tree holding the fallen tree was a potential risk of falling and hitting the house. He also took that tree out as well. These guys helped me out of a bad situation that could have cost a fortune or even hurt someone. I truly appreciate Patriot Tree Service; the owner Rick, and his master climber for helping me and my family and saving us from a terrible situation. We called Patriot Tree Services to remove a 75 foot tree in our backyard that was right next to our home as well as trim a separate 50 foot tree. They were able to come out the next day and provide me with a free quote and an explanation of the services needed and how they would execute. They were able to return 3 days later and take care of everything. They were extremely careful next to the house, so careful they took the extra precaution of roping down all limbs to ensure nothing was damaged. When you say Patriot Tree has the best reviews in at least 200 miles - you're RIGHT! These guys are fantastic!! Rick, the owner, is truly an amazing, sweet guy! I called one morning after needing some very overgrown trees cut town/trimmed - he came that same day to give me a quote!! Not only that it took less than a week for them to come and do the job! I needed just under 10 trees trimmed - at least 3 of them needed to be cut to a stump. These guys got it done in 3 hours, including hauling all the debris off! Nothing was damaged during the trees being cut down and they had so much care towards my neighbors property/fence. Truly a fantastic experience! Patriot Tree Service was a delight to work with. I called them for an estimate and they came out the same day. They took out a large oak tree in my front yard and trimmed up a few maples I had in the backyard. They scheduled me for the next day and had everything finished within hours. They were punctual, friendly, and greatly surpassed my expectations. They even cleaned off my roof and the gutters where my maple trees had dropped leaves! How great is that? Rick and team removed a box elder from my back yard and pruned/trimmed to sycamores. Throughout the process Rick was touch with me and was resposive to any questions and or concerns I had. While his quoute was very similar to other companies, his quote included more and therefore felt it was best value. Called to see if a tree we loved needed to be removed because it was looking like it may be dying. Was told by another tree service it was an evergreen and needed to be removed.
