She went above and beyond by scoping out the exact spot a couple times throughout the month of planning we had. Her communication and flexibility was super appreciated. Closer to the proposal date, she even went down to the actual spot and gave me a plethora of options with different potential angles of the proposal shot. I was so happy and relieved that I had all these great options to choose from. She sent me tons of videos and photos explaining how to get to the spot and where to stand. On the day of the proposal, Brittany was there early and ready to capture the moment. And capture the moment she did indeed. The photo of the exact moment of the proposal came out better than I could have ever imagined! Seriously, I literally said "Holy ****" out loud. I know I'm hyping up this photo a lot but I'm not going to show it in this review. You'll just have to book Brittany to get your own amazing photos! Brittany was an absolute thrill to take photos with for the rest of the morning session we had with her. She was fun, easy to talk with, and super creative with her ideas for poses and action shots. We laughed a lot when we went through the final photos and this is exactly the feeling I was hoping to get. You can just tell that there's a certain level of passion and detail Brittany brings to the table when it comes to photography. She also knows Yosemite like the back of her hand as she took us to amazing spots and also recommended us some great trails to hit afterwards! She did an absolutely spectacular job capturing all the special moments of our reunion - truly beautiful work!! We had requested a lot of ad hoc photos of classmates socializing, dancing, a large group photo and small group photos. We also had a special 20 minutes or so where our Guidance Counselor took the mic and told stories about our classmates, the mic was passed around the room. It was truly magical and Andrea caught so many amazing moments! Also, she was very patient with me, which I very much appreciated. Being the Reunion Coordinator, so much was happening, but she continued to check in with me. She was truly a ninja - capturing special moments throughout the event. If I could give a zero star rating, I would. Several years back, Cindy took the senior photos for…read moremy oldest child and delivered incredible pics. Unbelievably, even though I made several attempts to get an invoice from her for payment, she never responded. OR when she did, she said, "Don't worry about it. We'll settle up later." When it was our middle son's turn for senior photos, I approached her again. She said that she was not really doing much photography anymore (red flag), but would be willing to take his portraits. We paid the sitting fee AND finally gave her a final payment for her previous work. She posted the proofs on her website, and we were thrilled with how she captured the essence of our son (who is on the autism spectrum)! Happy ending, right? Well, that was nearly 3 years ago. I can't tell you how many times I reached out to her to place and confirm an order--by phone, by email. I even dropped off a hand-written letter with our order at her work. She never responded. When I'd run into her in town, she would ask me to again re-send the order, which I did, but I would never hear back from her. When my husband saw her around town recently and asked about the pictures, she snapped at him, eventually threatening him with a restraining order(!!!) You can't make this stuff up! Reading the rest of these reviews breaks my heart. My son's heart was broken in that he never got ANY of the pictures that she took from that special time in his life, celebrating his incredible accomplishment of graduating from high school. I have learned that these are common stories around our community--she took pictures AND people's money, never to be heard from again. I'm not sure why she continues to be listed on YELP as a business provider. I have a great deal of compassion for folks like her who go through hard times. But when you turn your back on people who have extended kindness and understanding AND supported you in your business, karma has a way of catching up. 0 stars, indeed.
