My only complaint is that it's not handicap accessible at all (it's an old building there isn't much they can do to change that unfortunately) and it gets HOT during the summer, there doesn't seem to be any AC but they do have a lot of fans around that help! When checking out today I was drenched in sweat, and the cashier mentioned how nice out it is and I agreed but said it's a little warm inside, and she just started arguing with me telling me that it's not hot in there at all (it was easily over 95° in the building, especially in the back where there is no air flow) another coworker seemed to try to deescalate the situation and explain that they're just use to it being even hotter in there, and I agreed with her because this was nothing to fight over. But the whole experience was so weird and tone deft. I'll still be back, usually the staff is very friendly. I guess just don't mention the temperature lmao

They have everything you can think of. Some things are really old, some just vintage and a few modern day. Whatever it is you are on the hunt for I am sure there is something to suit you here. I was strapped for time and actually was here to visit the old furniture store next door. They didn't have exactly what I was looking for so I came in here just to look around. BOY I wish I had a longer time to really look, But I quickly just walked through both floors. The creaking of the floor boards really add to the feel. and of course it smells like an old house as well.

They always gave me cold hard stares even when I smiled at them, which was quite odd considering I spent several hundred dollars there, at least $100 each time I went! There was no greeting when I entered once & the other times it was the most depressing little "hello" I've ever heard lol. I don't remember if they said anything when I left or not. Looking past that I still gave it 5 considering I went there to shop, not make friends. It would make it feel more welcoming though if they were more friendly.

This place is amazing…read more It's a bit overwhelming as you walk in and notice just how much stuff there is and how packed it is, but I almost feel like that makes the hunt even more fun. You never know what you're going to find and the place just keeps on going. It's so exciting. Although, it's organized by each section from linens and quilts, to glassware, to pans, to dishes, and so on. There's just A LOT and with that, there isn't a lot of room to move around. I could easily spend hours in here if I could. The prices were also very reasonable and not up charged which I seriously appreciated.
