The service inside was great - nice employees with smiling faces. The service outside (by the pumps) was NOT so nice. The man was rude and not at all helpful. The shoppette part is quite large and has a great selection. It is also the Class 6 and has a video rental section. read more

Its a shopette...not a lot to tell. You can't pay at the pump because of the ration card. Other than that, what do you expect??

I never get good service here, but this AAFES store has a captive audience. The service is slow, and often performed by young kids who truly don't care, and there are not enough pumps. This results in customers getting frustrated with each other. If you go to pay for gas and you buy something at the same time, then the pump can not be used by another customer until you pay. Often the lines are so slow that you could walk around the entire store and not really affect the delays , but if people are waiting for a pump and you walk out with shopping bags, other customers take their anger out on you. I recommend ESSO off base it is much more efficient, and quick. read more

Service on average is good inside. Their staff is friendly and easy-going. Very busy during lunch hours and immediately after work, especially on Fridays or last workday before a long weekend. GAS: Except for the busy parts of the day as mentioned above, it's usually easy to access gas (no diesel here). ***NOTE AS A COURTESY, please remember to pull your car forward enough for someone else to fuel up behind you if you decide to shop before paying for your gas.*** [If you need diesel fuel, you can go to Kelly shoppette/gas station or the Esso station on Haupstrasse a few blocks from Patch.] MOVIES: I've had problems with movies not being checked in by either the store clerks or "system error". I would find out when I attempt to rent movies here and I'm told that I "have an unreturned movie" (or two). Twice before, the previous manager would have to look over the surveillance to see who checked in the movies and later would credit me with the returned movies, freeing my account once again. There is a new manager who claims he's trying to remedy the ongoing problems with video rentals. Apparently, I've had a third incident of "unreturned movies" showing on my account and he insisted to allow him time to resolve some issues. Meanwhile, he fixed my account on the spot. read more

It is a gas station. Nothing more and nothing less. Convenient that it is 24/7. Most people I have dealt with are generally very friendly except once in the 6 years I have been here. Recently an older gentleman at the register was outright rude and mean towards me just for asking for quarters so I could vacuum my car and the bank was closed. Totally not justified and management never apologized nor did he to me. That has been the only negative experience I have had with this place. read more

I like that we have a shopette on Patch! It's convenient, almost always clean, and most of the employees are friendly, and helpful.
