We were moving from the Midwest to Mississippi for work. We found Pat Starnes online where she was highly recommended. We spoke with her on the phone. She subsequently gave us her website of current homes that she thought matched our desires. Between her website, Trulia and Zillow, we came up with a list of about 20 homes. When we flew in on a Friday, we had 5 days to find a home. She picked us up at the airport despite the fact that it snowed 3 inches that day! We spent 8-12 hour days together that weekend looking at homes. Monday we were no closer to finding a house (most had foundation issues) and we were flying out the next day. At that point, Pat recommended some areas that we had not considered. After driving around all morning, Pat finally found us the house! Pat used her knowledge of real-estate and the area, plus spent time getting to know us, not just what type of house we wanted, but why. I think this helped her focus on what we needed, not necessarily what we wanted. She managed to meet both my and my husband's needs, even though some of our needs and desires conflicted. Pat was thoughtful and paid attention to detail. She was quick to point out deficiencies in houses. What I especially liked about Pat is that she wanted to sell us the right house, not just make a sale. She stayed in close contact with us from the time we put in the offer through the closing, even through the end-of-year holidays. After the closing, she called a couple of times that week to see if we needed anything and remind us of important things like transferring the utilities. Pat was a delight to work with.
