This was a nice little café that popped up in a strip mall on 151st Street. Cello was the same, but different. Similar to the Starbucks ethos, they specialize in a number of fancy coffees, yet still offer plain old brewed coffee. We tried the brewed coffee (5-star fresh and hot), some Green Tea called mint (5-star delish), and a fruit crêpe. Now the fruit crêpe was also a 5-star offering, but you better come hungry ... it was a huge helping, and we ended up splitting it but still could not finish. It was a freshly made crêpe with Nutella and a light cream sauce inside, piled with fresh fruit and then a drizzle of Nutella and the cream sauce on top. This was a meal-sized delight. Many of the other offerings seem to be simply a different riff on the fruit crêpe, which can also come on a fresh waffle. Now this is not the kind of place where you pop in for a quick coffee to go ... but, rather, it takes time to get food (service) here because most of it is freshly made. But that said, if you have the time the food (crepes, coffee, and tea) were worth the wait. Ambiance wise, the decor was very nice ... just enough fru-fru to make you forget you're in a strip mall. There are a number of chairs, tables, and and sofas around to make many seating arrangements, which was nice; you can come with a group or as a single and feel welcome. The only negatives on our visit: the music list was fine, but way too loud; they must turn the music down so patrons can have a conversation. When we arrived we noticed an employee parking their car right in front of the establishment (5 feet from the entrance) and we thought that maybe they could have parked in the spaces just across the lot (35 feet from the door); it just makes sense to cater to your customers, rather than yourself. But all that said, this was a nice new offering in Orland Park.

I went inside and was greeted and the young guy that helped me was really nice. I told him it was my first time. He let me try a sample of their chocolate chip cookie and as soon as I took a bite I was hooked. They have different type of cookies in there too. I got the chocolate chip cookies and I got the 10 pack. He said you also can get 4 big cookies too as optional. I also got the Georgia peach drink too and omg it was sooooo delicious that I finished the drink before I got home lol. It's like a soda mixed with peach tea. This is definitely the spot to go to if you have a sweet tooth and the cookies are soft and freshly made. I will be back here again. 10 out of 10. Check them out and you won't be disappointed.

Nice crowd in the store and everyone was happily deciding on their cookie choice. Hubby and I decided on the four pack; Reese's cup, churro, chocolate chip and Dubai chocolate. Presentation is amazing. Definitely enough to share. My favorite, hands down is the Dubai chocolate. Stuffed with premium pistachio cream and crispy, shredded phyllo dough exactly like the candy bar. What a treat. Shout out to my Yelp buddy Tim for the recommendation.

I've been a regular customer at this bakery for a long time -- my son loves their cookies, and I've…read morespent hundreds of dollars here over time. But my recent experience ordering a custom cake for my husband's 40th birthday was so disappointing that I feel obligated to warn others. I ordered a two-tier custom cake for nearly $400, plus two dozen mini cupcakes for $110, bringing my total close to $500. For comparison: * Most privately owned bakeries charge around $200-$350 for a two-tier custom cake depending on complexity. * Mini cupcakes typically cost $20-$50 per 24, even from gourmet bakeries. So I paid premium pricing, and I expected premium quality. Unfortunately, that's not what I received. Design Issues The cake did not resemble the inspiration photos we discussed. I asked for a deep, elegant green with blended transitions -- something fitting for an adult's 40th birthday theme. Instead, the cake looked more like a Minecraft or Ninja Turtle cake with bright neon green, flat colors, and no blending. When I brought up the design issue, the owner blamed me, saying the buttercream "needs to sit out for 4-5 hours to darken." The cake did sit out for almost 5 hours, and the color never changed. It wasn't even close to the shade I requested. The explanation didn't make sense, and it felt like I was being blamed for something that was simply a design mistake. Quality Issues: Undercooked Cake When we cut the top tier at the party, we discovered: * an unusually thick 2-inch layer of frosting in the middle, * and a raw, floury, undercooked interior. The texture and aftertaste confirmed it wasn't baked through. We ended up throwing away the entire top tier and whatever was left over at the end of the night. This is more than disappointing -- it's a food safety concern. Customer Service & Tone This was honestly the most frustrating part. When I reached out to discuss what went wrong, the owner's tone was polite on the surface, but the conversation felt passive-aggressive, full of constant rebuttals, and completely lacking in accountability. Every single concern I raised was met with: * an excuse, * a deflection, * or a technical explanation that didn't match my actual experience. There was zero acknowledgment that anything might have been done incorrectly. She repeatedly mentioned things like: * "I didn't charge you for the little decorative balls -- those were free," * "I didn't charge you for the cake topper, it was $3.99," which felt unnecessarily frugal and honestly strange considering I spent almost $500 there. Mentioning $3.99 repeatedly after charging me hundreds of dollars made the whole interaction feel awkward and unprofessional. She also offered me a few free cookies -- but only if I used them this year because she "couldn't move the gift card into the next year due to accounting." I didn't want cookies. I wanted a partial refund, which was the only fair resolution. She immediately shut that down and said she "couldn't do that because of policy," even though she is the owner who sets the policies. There was no room for discussion, no willingness to listen, and no genuine concern for the customer experience. Overall For nearly $500, I received: * a cake that didn't match the design, * colors that were incorrect, * an undercooked top tier, * and a customer service experience that was rigid, dismissive, and full of excuses. I don't post negative reviews lightly, but this was extremely poor value for the price, and the lack of accountability afterward made the situation far worse. I hope this bakery takes this feedback seriously and improves both quality control and how they handle issues when they arise.

The buttercream was not sweet at all, which I really enjoyed. The cake itself was moist and cooked perfectly. My fiancé also enjoyed it. We also tried the m&m cookie and that had a lot of m&m's inside and was sweeter than the cupcake but also very good. It's a cute store and very clean.

There were only seats close by the door so we got one of those and we were cold our whole meal. I should've gotten a warm drink. I spent the whole meal just wishing the food came out fast so we can go. We got a build your own breakfast, skillet and pancakes. The build your own breakfast was decent but not filling. We liked the sourdough toast. The potatoes had cheese on them but like the shaved cheese you find on salad. It wasn't even melted all the way. Weird mouth feel while eating. Skillet was great at the bottom. I had asked for pepper jack cheese and I'm sure I got the wrong cheese since pepper jack has little chopped up peppers in it. The cheese didn't even look melted all the way either. Potatoes were a good size but the veggies were super wilted and kinda weighed down form grease. I had to stop eating it. Waitress barely came over so I didn't get a refill of my soda. Ketchup didn't come in a bottle. Both plates had potatoes but she only brought one little dip cup of ketchup. Not enough honestly. For the name Blissful Banana, I expected more done to the pancakes. Just two small pancakes and I asked for bananas on top. No special sauce or whipped cream just bananas sliced on top. Boring. I wouldn't come back. Nothing about this meal was blissful. I wish I could get my money back.
