Locally owned and well run with a menu full of homemade dishes. They grow olives on a local farm so make sure you sample some. Since they grow olives they also press their own olive oil which is excellent. The piri-piri is also homemade with their olive oil instead of cheap sunflower oil. This is a wonderful little restaurant on a side street off the river and close to Largo de Portagem square. Original tapas style dishes and larger ones including a memorable pesto pasta dish. I will be thinking about the sautéed shitaki mushrooms and the seasonal veggie dishes for a while.
