We found the service to be awful, the experience horrible, and will never have any business with them again. We bought a 2016 used car from them about 5 weeks ago. They sold it to us with fender damage on the rear of the car that had clearly been covered up. We reported it to them immediately wanting them to evaluate the situation and take care of it. Gary said to bad you should have noticed it. They wouldn't return our phone calls even when we left messages. They knew that they had done something morally wrong and even when I told them that they acknowledged that what they were doing was wrong however still told me they wouldn't fix it. I love fords, it's all I have ever driven but the service department at paso ford is far below par, twice I have taken my truck to have work done and both times I have been disappointed, they have yet to have it done on time and rarely do they call to update you on the progress of your vehicle. Most recently I brought my truck in for an oil leak and it magically sprung leaks on 4 other parts while sitting on their lift. I would not recommend to anyone to bring their vehicle here for service. We came to the dealership only to look around and see what we could afford with no intentions of buying. After looking at a truck and test driving it, they offered to crunch numbers so we could see we where we would be on monthly payments. We have far from good credit, so we assumed the worst. After coming back with too high of payments that we were not comfortable with, the sales man and the sales manager, Kevin Pryor, bent over backwards working the numbers to get us to a monthly payment we were comfortable with. I've bought a couple of cars from Paso Ford over the years and each time it's been a pleasant experience. The sales staff has really catered to my insistence that I not spend all day to purchase a car. And Kevin is an absolute doll on the sales team. But this review is actually for the service department. I've had to head in there a couple of times, but this week topped the cake. My 2014 car just flat died on me. I called the service department and they hooked me immediately up with road side assistance who was genuinely concerned that I was off the road and someplace safe. Once I arrived at the service department, Gay had already logged my call into the system and had me all set up with only a short wait to catch their shuttle back to work. At the end of my work day she again made sure I had a ride back to Ford. My car was all fixed, waiting in the lot and ready to go. She had pre done all the paperwork for my warranty and closed out my order before I even arrived. Car troubles, especially in the middle of a work day can be incredibly stressful and the Paso Ford service department did an amazing job to negate all that stress. went down there with my dad and they treated us like shit. they were weasels and didn't even have the car washed like they promised. the salesman who tried to sell us the car was un professional and didn't even have anything ready and we called him out on it and he "didn't like that". these guys even tried to say please don't give us a bad review to our faces because they messed up and didn't have anything right. they are a bunch of con artists and don't know how to do business what so ever. we even drove down 2 hours to get this truck.they are the worst dealership and people in my opinion. they literally did nothing right and didn't like how the customer called them out on their mistakes which they promised over the phone. just go in there and take a look at the staff. guys you don't wanna be around or buy a car from thats a fact. the salesman we dealt with looks like a little weasel so watch out for him he's easy to spot and sucks at his job. we wanted the truck and they couldn't even wash it properly and then when my dad asked where the mats were that come with it he acts like they didn't and went to another car on the lot and just threw the matts in didn't even put them down for us in the car and walked away. everything should be ready when buying a new car. right? worst experience of my life. pathetic people and embarrassing to say the least. if you wanna be played with, dis respected and lied to go here. We moved from Kansas and I had no need for my 4x4 F 150 pick up. Our local Ford dealer said they would be happy to take it as a trade...for nearly $5000 less than KBB average. The next nearest dealer said they couldn't take it as it was a 49 state vehicle and couldn't be sold in CA. So, I "trucked up" to Paso Robles Ford and I am thrilled I did. Not only did I get a fair trade in, they very happily put me in a CPO Fusion that was loaded beyond what I was looking for in a new car for about 1/2 what I expected to spend. Everyone was friendly, helpful and efficient. None of that hurry up and wait "while I check with my manager" nonsense. This is how buying a car should be. Can't speak to the dealership, but the service department is friendly, helpful, and aims to please. I've been in for oil changes and other maintenance issues and today, after having a recalled part replaced, I noticed a new scuff on my passenger side wheel well. They immediately wanted to check cameras to see if someone hit it while parked in the yard, and when that proved difficult, took it to the detail guy and took care of it, no questions asked. I just bought my second new car from Paso Ford and Giuseppe the sales guy was SUPER COOL. I dragged him around for hours test driving till i got my perfect car. He kept a smile, sense of humor and was patient all day. . The only problem that i had was the finance guy . I had written a check for $3000.00 and decided to go down the next day and get the check back and pay CASH to make it easier. I Brought him $3000.00 cash for the down payment which was the agreed upon amount, he said i owed $51.00 more for the final payoff; I asked him if he could waive it because i had just bought 2 new cars in 2 years there and he said: Well WE CAN REDO YOUR CONTRACT FOR THE $51.OO???????? A very dishonest service department. Recently my pregnant wife was in Paso shopping when a warning light came on in our 2014 Lincoln MKX. I advised her with our toddler to go directly to the dealership to have it looked at. We have used this dealership for every oil change and service on this car for the last two years. I trusted them. After they looked at our car they assessed that the cooling fan was out and would need replaced. They quoted her the amount of just over $850. They claimed that the part was going to be over $300 and they would have at least 3+ hours in labor. After a little research I decided we would have the car brought home and I would try to fix it myself. I have a small workshop and general mechanical knowledge. I bought a OEM replacement part off of the internet and with limited knowledge or expertise on these vehicles was able to completely replace it in less than 45 minutes. Shame on their service department for trying to take advantage of my pregnant wife stuck there with a toddler. Never again will we use them. read more

I use to go to Paso Robles Ford for all my cars. I dealt with Scott and Bob Moore and Kevin Shannon in regards to all 6 cars I have bought through Paso Ford. I like to say I am a pretty good customer. Unfortunately, the Moore Brothers are no longer there and the place falls apart when Kevin Shannon is not there. My daughter's explorer was having issues, when she took it in to be serviced, she was told it would be fine. When she filled it up with gas last week, the inside of the car smelled like gas, she immediately called the service department to try to get it in, she was told they could not look at but to bring it in and let it sit and they would get to it. She called Kevin Shannon, who had her bring it in and got her a rental car. Well things went down hill from there. They have had the car a week, they worked on it wednesday, Kevin was told it would be done Friday, NOPE! Then my daughter gets a call Saturday morning, someone is coming to look at the car, we can pick it up or you can bring it in, nothing was said about getting another rental - I drove down after to her to pick her up. Gary, the guy who called about getting it back, was not around they had to look for him while we waited - finally he showed up, tried to be nice, small talk us, took the keys and finally I asked are you getting my daughter another rental car?? He said yes, then tried to talk to us about the recalls - which we already knew about - basically just kind of wasting our time, this was an unexpected trip to Paso Robles, we live in Templeton. At this point, I left and my daughter waited for the rental car. I ran two errands and beat her home - I asked what took so long and she said they had to put gas in it. I was happy with that because she had just filled up the explorer rental car. She was given a Buick Enclave a tiny SUV and that I don't even think her daughter's car seat will fit in the back. When she went to run an errand, she noticed the gas was on empty. She called and talked to someone else - Gary wasn't around - and they said oh we filled up the wrong car, you can bring it back and we will fill it up or we will comp you gas if you fill it up. NOT!!!! She called Kevin Shannon again, and he is taking care of the problem on Monday. Kevin is a great salesperson and would totally deal with him, if I didn't have to deal with the other people at Paso Ford. The service department is not fast, it takes days to get your car serviced and if its a recall and you need a part, it takes a week if not more - this is not the first time this has happened to us in regards to the service department. They are always waiting for a part. The sales staff obviously doesn't communicate well and since the Moore Brothers left, in my opinion their sales staff has gone down hill. They don't respect their customers, it appears they could care less if they have your repeat business. From now on I am going to Mullahey Ford in Arroyo Grande for my service needs. read more

Other owners with same problem in other cities complained of their dealer not having the part, but Paso Robles Ford had it ordered and delivered in one day! Sent me a text asking me to schedule with the phone number of the Service Department. Nice use of technology. Service Writers were friendly, fast, and professional. Comfortable waiting area, free WiFi with an actual telecommuter workspace, good LTE signal, and free Coastal Peaks coffee. What more could you ask for? PLEASE take a second to read about my recent experience at Paso Robles Ford. We recently purchased a used 2007 Dodge Cummins truck from Paso Robles Ford 3 1/2 months ago. A couple weeks ago the transmission went out in it. Smart guy I am I also purchased a extended warranty. Long story short, the warranty folks wouldn't cover the transmission because a part not under warranty caused the failure to the transmission. B.S. if you ask me. This is not over with the warranty company. What absolutely blew me away is the owner of Paso Robles Ford pulled the money out of his own pocket and paid for the transmission to be replaced. Who does that? PASO ROBLES FORD!! They have made me a customer for life. I can't thank-you enough KEVEN PRYOR for your word, honesty, integrity and dedication to customer satisfaction. Worst customer service! I had my car worked on and the mechanic did a bad job and refused to own up to his mistakes on what he done as well as what he hadn't done correctly. I will never go back to Paso Ford for anything and I will also encourage others to NEVER go there for their cars needs. The supervisor/ manager was not helpful in clearing the situation, he merely swept our issue away and stated he will have someone " look at it" and to have the issue fixed it will cost me more out of my pocket for their incompetent mechanics failings and his substandard skills. If you want to have a job done badly/ wrong and like to pay more then sure go there, but if you want a job done right the first time you might as well grab your our wrench and do it yourself ( even of you are not trained you will probably do a better job) and take pride in your work which this does not occur at Paso Ford. I hope this post saves someone a headache and some money. read more

After I bought my car a month ago a 2012 Chevy Cruze I still continue to receive poor service it has been in the shop for the third time now. First was my water pump that they overlooked. Second I hit a pot hole and the brand new tire popped ( I was fine with replacing it myself I hit the pot hole) but then when I get to the tire shop I learned my tires were programmed wrong by Paso ford so I had to the reprogramming fee. And third was a recall that I had specifically asked to be taken care of before I got the car. I work two job and don't have time to take my car in and have it sit in a shop for 4 hours. . I was told I could not get a spare key but Paso ford did get me one and said to come by so they will program it. While it was at the shop for the recall at Chevy, they told me that Paso ford would not be able to program the key the don't have the right equipment. When I got my car I was told to come back for a detail which I was fine with it was quite clean when I got it but when I sent it to ford to take it for my recall I asked for them to detail it so I don't have to got back another day. I get my car back from ford the next day undetailed and I asked why it wasn't detailed and he said to call the General Manager Scott. So I did announced who I was and asked why it didn't get detailed and he hung up on me. I called back and there was no answer I called my sales person Gary twice and got not answer.
