I'm not a regular cigar smoker but occasionally, I enjoy a simple stick with my boyfriend. This…read moreplace was the perfect selection for our pre-game date night. My cigar of choice, Davidoff SIGNATURE AMBASSADRICE. This slim stick was pretty simple and easy for me to indulge in. Drink of choice, Black Cherry Manhattan. The dark sweet drink added a sexy twist to the experience and it was smooth. Guess what??? They have ladies night on Wednesday! Definitely going to try it out. No food sold here, just great cocktails. There are however, lots of restaurants nearby so that should not stop you from visiting. Staff were really friendly and made the experience great. The place is nicely organized and comfortable inside and there is an outside patio. No membership needed to experience the magic but they do offer great membership packages for anyone interested in joining. Overall, I will be back!

Nice spot. One of the few remaining cigar bars left in DC…read more This spot is purely smoke, drink and go. They have decent restrooms if you need those, but it leans utilitarian. Functional even...and nope, unlike Shelly's or Ozio's or even 1865 - there's no food served here. Not even wings/fries. Hung with my brother and his pal. Had a long island and after about 1.5 hours, we bounced. Sorry for just the one pic, but I'd return. Service was polite/efficient and I parked next door in the garage. I could have parked on the street today because it's a holiday! Welp.:/

Great selection of bourbons and Cigars for sure. I had a nice Reuben sandwich for lunch. I also…read moreordered the chips and salsa. . The serving of salsa was pretty skimpy Given the size of the basket of chips I got. I had to ask for a refill on the salsa. Also, the salsa to me was not salsa, It was more like pico de gallo as it was all just chunks, which was tasty enough, but if I'm to be dipping chips into salsa I was really expecting something a little more liquidy and not just chunks. Also, their chips are way too thin for their salsa, as such as it is. The chips kept breaking every time I wanted to scoop up any of the chips/pico de gallo sauce. Finally, I was a little annoyed at the end, when I noticed the was a slight price increase on my angels envy bourbon. Apparently they charged me $.50 to have one ice cube in my glass. I noted to my server that nobody had asked me what size ice I wanted I had merely said angels envy on the rocks. I didn't get rocks plural. I got one piece of ice. And it wasn't one of those humongous cubes like I have at home either.

So disappointing to see they still sneak a 5% "admin fee" onto the bill…read more Today they closed early and required payment in cash because their point of sale system is down. They even turned off the TVs almost an hour early and started turning off the lights 30 minutes before the announced early closing time (5:30pm). Despite this utter admin failure, they still had the nerve to charge the 5% extra.

My husband and I visited expecting a quality dining and cigar lounge experience. Unfortunately, we left disappointed from beginning to end. The cigar experience was underwhelming. The staff lacked basic knowledge about pairing cigars with drinks, and we weren't even provided a torch or proper guidance. For a place that promotes itself as a cigar lounge, I expected much better. The food was equally disappointing. The gumbo tasted old and contained barely any seafood, just a couple of small shrimp and a few crawfish with overcooked rice. The wings also tasted as if they had been sitting for quite some time. The pork belly was so tough it was difficult to eat, the fries were under-seasoned, and the cold Parmesan sprinkled on top made them even less appetizing. What truly pushed this review to one star, however, was the customer service after our visit. We were automatically charged a 20% gratuity as a party of two without it being disclosed beforehand. When I contacted the restaurant, I spoke with a manager named Suzanne several times. She admitted we had been overcharged and acknowledged that the gratuity should not have been applied. She told me the issue was being investigated and that the General Manager would contact me. That never happened. After more than two weeks of repeated calls, promises of follow-up, and complete silence from management, it's clear that customer concerns are only taken seriously until you leave the restaurant. Mistakes happen. What matters is how a business responds. Had someone simply followed through, communicated honestly, or shown any accountability, I likely wouldn't be writing this review. I cannot recommend spending your money somewhere that values collecting it more than addressing legitimate customer concerns.
