This is a street in Granada basically underneath the shadow of the Alhambra. It got its name from the funeral processions that used to use this street on their way to the cemetery. Now it's filled with shops and restaurants (most very touristy--I bought a piece of typical Granadan pottery along here at a reasonable price) but still makes for a pleasant walk along the river. I'm reviewing the restaurant called El Paseo in Granada. I wish I could give it negative stars. IT IS HORRIBLE. The sangria tastes like over sweet juice and the complimentary tapas is a joke. We got a disgusting concoction of potatoes and under-ripe tomatoes that was a poor excuse for food. Save your euros and go to one of the local, lovely places away from this tourist trap. read more
