I thought I was going to be in a pretty small town and then I got captivated by the beauty of the buildings and the pretty avenues with nice restaurants, cafes and stores. This hotel is located in downtown and it was not easy for me to arrive there walking from the train station. I followed Google maps but somehow the city center is very concentric and my app was sending me to opposite ways, so what it should be less than a 10 minutes walk took me almost an hour. Also, looks like there is another Radisson hotel, so make sure you know where you go! (don't do like me). On my lost ways to Radisson Blu I met 2 guys, Afghani refugees that helped me deciphered the path to my hotel (it is always nice to interface with humans not only devices!). Hotel found, nice receptionist and prompt service. I was very pleased with my room, the design (I loved the pixelated deconstructed famous Belgian paint on top of my bed. Believe it or not, this hotel is so 'design' that even the Bible was super amazing, with the most beautiful, simple and elegant illustrations I have ever seen I did not get one to carry because I was carrying the minimum stuff with me, but check the pics and see for yourself (plus you can practice languages as was in French, Dutch and German!). I was not only super happy with my room and the fabulous view, but also with the views of the upper terrace that is open to public after 5 for happy hours and gatherings. Just amazing. The gym, with sauna and hamam very complete and full of people! (they have pool hours for women only for those who prefer that way). Breakfast of next day was also fantastic, there is nothing I did not like of my experience there, so I will definitively go back if I am in Hasselt again.

Decorated with a festive seasonal charm capturing the warm Limburg accent, you could see that the hotel management and owner(s) put exceptional care, planning and love into making this a very nice stay even during this new challenging Coronavirus outbreak. Breakfast was amazing and the rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. Each room has a theme and a unique charm all it's own!!! It was the perfect balance of everything. We were in room 218 & had a wonderful unobstructed view of the church steeple. The room was beautiful, clean and had updated modern/elegant finishes. The shower and bathtubs were luxurious. The only thing may be that not everyone is comfortable with glass showcasing the tub. I was sharing the room with my daughter and she would have preferred privacy in her bathtub. We loved the menu options of additional pillows we could request - we tried the "zen" pillows and they were fabulous!

My wife and I enjoyed our night though as a previous reviewer wrote, the floors can be a bit squeaky so we were able to sometimes hear our neighbors directly above us. The location is fantastic as there are plenty of shopping areas and restaurants. You're only a short walk to the historic downtown area as well as the train station. Parking is located about 50 meters from the hotel and the cost is 24 Euro for the night. The breakfast is 21 Euro which is a bit pricey but the food and service was excellent. The staff made omelets and freshly squeezed orange juice. If you're looking to save a few Euro there are plenty of breakfast options in the area. The room itself was very modern and comfortable and should we find ourselves back in the area we would stay here again.

The location is perfect--just across the river from the historic center and steps from the train station, making it incredibly convenient while still feeling tucked away from the crowds. Our room which was located on the 3rd floor was beautifully designed with a modern, boutique feel: comfortable beds, thoughtful details, and everything impeccably clean. It's the kind of place where you can tell care has gone into every decision, from the layout to the finishes. What really sets Hotel Alex apart is the service. The staff are genuinely warm, attentive, and full of great local recommendations--restaurants, cafés, and walks you wouldn't easily find on your own. The hotel does not offer parking but Q Park s located a block down the street & is very reasonable. Breakfast is extra & available in the beautiful restaurant on the ground floor. We did not partake. If you're visiting Maastricht and want something more intimate and character-filled than a standard hotel, Hotel Alex is a fantastic choice. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

From 2 story apartments to rooms that make you feel like your in a castle back in the 1400's. The pool at the spa here is very nice and relaxing. They have a running trail that takes you thru a field and Into the woods. Very beautiful and when your deep in the woods on the running trail you will find a bar that looks like Robin Hood and his merry men built. Lol. I could go on and on about this place. Put it on your bucket list cause this place is awesome!!!

The swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms are definitely my favorite hangout spots besides the bistro. I recommend you book your massages or facials before you arrive, since they are popular "activities" over here. I can spend three nights in a row here without ever leaving the property and be as happy as.... a princess! Pro tip: Breakfast buffet with a view on the palace gardens. Worth every penny!!

I was fortunate enough to stay at the De Limbourg Sittard for a few months this year while working…read morein Sittard. It's a classic European hotel right on the square or "Markt" of Sittard. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. It's a very large hotel but not obvious from the outside. You are literally next door to historic churches and a 10 minute walk to the train station. The owners and staff are very nice and like family. It's great to support a locally owned business here. You are steps away from everything in Sittard and if you have a car, park in the very nice underground (Interparking ODA Parking) I've reviewed recently. The daily breakfast is nice as well. I loved their coffee and croissants. But the best part was returning from work to be greeted with a smiling face to ask me how my day was. The cafes and restaurants nearby are great as well. I can't wait to return and re-visit this area on holiday.
