We loved Emerald City Designs!…read moreWe got married this past Saturday (10/17/15) and used ECD for our flowers, chairs, table clothes, menus, and programs. They were so easy to work with, extremely organized - which is awesome for a bride who had no idea what she was doing, prompt with all communication and top notch in everything they did. Their facilities are something to see! From the beautiful offices to the showroom and in-house flower room, they do everything there and everything fresh. We were so impressed. The day of the wedding, while we were off at the church and taking pictures, they were up bright and early making everything perfect at the venue. So many compliments on our decorations. I'm sure there are other great design companies out there, but there is no doubt that ECD is the BEST!

They were very responsive to email, very accommodating to multiple iterations of centerpiece designs, and very helpful in helping us bring our vague design ideas to life in a beautiful and cohesive fashion. The design and preview meetings were extremely helpful for talking through and visualizing things. They were very upfront with all aspects of pricing, which I appreciated. And I love that they made our wedding day so easy by setting everything up and taking it down, even delivering our bouquets/boutonnieres to the hotel bridal suite at just the right moment before photos started so that they would look fresh and beautiful all day long, and coordinating with our cake decorator to provide flowers that matched our centerpieces to decorate tiers of the cake. I would highly recommend Emerald City Designs for all your floral/décor needs.

The folks at CCW were great with coordinating logistics and communications. Michael, the customer service rep, was fantastic. He made the entire rental a breeze. I really went back and forth on whether or not to rent chiavari chairs or use the ugly chairs provided by my venue. I am SO glad I got the chairs, they really transformed the room, totally worth it, and CCW offered the best price I could find throughout Michigan. If you're on the fence, rent the chairs through CCW. You won't regret it!

I brought up my concern with the employee and was told she wishes socks were required, but they're not. I decided to message the owner to get some clarification and possibly a reason as to why they don't require them when every other play place I've been to does. I guess my concern is that athletes foot and HFM spread very quickly, even if they are cleaning as much as they claim. The response I got from the owner was less than polite. I've included screen shots from our interaction. She assumed I wrote a review that I hadn't and didn't bother to apologize when I said I didn't leave that review. Every other play place I've taken my son to requires socks. Play and Grow, as far as I've seen, isn't advertised as a gymnastics gym. And even though they have some gymnastics equipment, that isn't the main focus of the play area. I wanted to give this place another chance, after going a few times previously and not having any issues. But after the owners response and assumptions that I wrote the initial review, we won't be back. Apparently parents aren't allowed to have concerns regarding cleanliness and safety.
