I always forget to ask for the discount but the cashier always remembers for me. This is the place to go in Monroe if you want something in bulk or you need candy for a fundraiser. Throughout high school I would come here and buy a box of candy for $25, then sell the candy at school for $50. It took about a week to sell. It was a fun way to make a little money in school. I don't know if there is anywhere else in Monroe where you can buy in bulk, but really, unless a Sam's Club moves in, GFS is the perfect fit for Monroe.

The new owner is from "outside the area" and they are going through the playbook like they always do.... 1st thing is to get rid of the local employees. After that you raise prices. She also offered me a sample of her Stress Relief Eucalyptus Spearmint Body Lotion. After smearing a sample of this on my hands, I knew I had to have some of this stuff....fast forward a few days we took our grandson to the Apple Store in Franklin Park Mall and while my hubby and him did some shopping, I decided to run down and do a little happy women type shopping. Upon entering their store, I was greeted by friendly and helpful clerks who offered me a shopping bag to carry with me as I shopped. I was overwhelmed with all the great products they sell, but was focused on finding my Stress Relief Eucalyptus Spearmint Body Lotion. As I moved to the room towards the back of the store, there it was, but not only do they have body lotion, they also had soaps and other products available in that same scent! Since the foaming hand soap was on sale for $3 a bottle, I decided to grab one if those also. Checkout was quick and easy and they can email you a receipt if you like. Very pleasant shopping experience and I am so happy with both the lotion and the soap products. I love the way it makes my skin feel and the smell truly is delightful. I have never been a big fan of eucalyptus, but this is not over powering. If you you like unique smells and quality products, and friendly customer service, I would definitely recommend visiting this store if you get the chance. Review #22 08/05/16

I will take my business somewhere else and have already been sharing this experience with my family/friends. Why does the customer have to take a loss from a defective item?? Sounds like they are selling fakes. Just a matter of time before more people are affected by this. Shame on you Dirt Cheap!!
