Two days ago I walked into this Best Buy location to purchase a couple sturdy phone cases for my new phones. I walked right up to a young man in the phone accessories section and asked his opinion on one of the three cases I was considering. All three of them had different price points. There were two specifically that were almost exactly the same model, the only difference is that one is apparently able to charge with some brand new Apple charger that's out. I told him that I did not have that charger, nor was I looking to get it anytime in the near future. "I just need something that will keep these new expensive investment safe." On a sidenote, I already knew EXACTLY which case I was going to get! This young man, who doesn't get commission by the way, listen to EVERYTHING I said and suggested the exact one! DANIEL: "well, if you don't plan on getting that charger anytime soon there's no reason to spend an extra $40 on each is there?" I like this kid so much I bought two bad ass screen protectors for these phones too. There's nothing better than a sales professional that adds value and thinks about the client before themselves. I don't think this kid has any idea how badass he actually is. Well done Daniel... You are the man! Don't be surprised if I come back in and recruit you in the not so distant future! Just that one particular skill I just highlighted will set you apart from about 80% of ALL people in Sales! Keep up the stellar work brother!!! Thanks for listening, and for having Integrity!!!

    If I could rate them a million times negative, I would. I ordered an iPad on April 17, 2026. It was…read moredelivered April 18, 2026. They sent me a completely empty iPad box. I called within 10 MINUTES of receiving the empty box. (Screen shots were saved of everything) I was told to return the empty box, and I would get a replacement. I return the empty box on April 21, 2026 with a note asking to please refer to my account. A few days go by, NOTHING! I call and tell them, they keep dragging this out and won't give me an answer. They ask me to file a police report, I file a police report. I call the following day to give them the police report number, which is what was asked of me. That same evening (on a saturday) I got an email saying the investgation is over and I will NOT get a refund of a product I bought that I never got. They never called my police department, they never cared to even "investigate" and made me jump through hoops for nothing. They end up sending me the EMPTY BOX BACK!!!! With a typed low ink letter saying they refuse to help because i "returned an empty box" NO I DID NOT! I RETURNED WHAT WAS SENT TO ME! (EMPTY AF) After I sent the return, I googled how to find when a serial number to an apple product was registered. It provided the date of April 24, 2026- 3 days after I returned the empty box they sent me originally. This has been almost 2 weeks of being on hold with unanswered emails and constantly being told "so sorry for the inconvenience" with zero resolution. I called them an ungodly amount of times, constantly a different person with a different accent with a different response. A billion dollar corporation refused to fix a problem they created and now I have to eat the cost. a $300 issue, why would I keep making a big deal over this? None of this makes sense! I will NEVER spend another dollar with them again, they are absolute THIEVES and do NOT care about their customers at all. SAVE YOUR MONEY DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THEM YOU BEST BUY-LIEVE THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU!

We were told that I'd be able to take advantage of a promotion even though I wouldn't be able to switch over for two months (my ATT phone was new and couldn't be paid off until three months had passed). We were assured that we could take advantage of the rebate as my number would be ported over at a later date. After an hour on the phone with the rebate center they told me to call the store where we switched. The assistant manager Kristi assured me that no mistake had been made on their end and wished me, "good luck finding a new carrier". I guess people just don't care about good customer service anymore. If you find a place with good customer service, whatever business it is, stay with them and tell everyone you know!

Everything I've ever tried to do, they've told me I had to do online. I went in with paperwork to try to change my name on my account.... Nope, call customer service. Then they told me I could bring the paperwork BACK if customer service needed me to. The next time we tried to upgrade my daughters phone with one she bought elsewhere. (T-Mobile out of state) couldn't find that after we waited forever. While we waited we saw several elderly customers trying to pay their bill only to be told to do it online. They couldn't figure out how. The next day we cans in yo purchase a phone from the store but they didn't have any. Guess where we needed to go? Online. What is the point?

    California Customs was recommended to me by the head of sales at White-Allen Porsche. Through the…read moreyears I've taken a Porsche and two Lexuses there for audio upgrades, remote starters, and dashcams. They've always done a good clean job at a reasonable price. Until the last time when I took a newer Lexus in to have a dashcam installed. I think I got a new installer because he made a hash of the installation - broke the mounting bracket for the front camera, and completely broke the rear wiper system while trying to feed the camera wires through the interior of the car. California Customs pointed out the problems right away, told me to have the car fixed at Lexus, and they would cover the repairs. So, that's what I did - it took 4 days of labor by Lexus plus a completely new rear wiring harness to fix the damage. This was not an inexpensive repair job. I'm here to report that California Customs ended up covering the parts and labor in full to get the car fixed. It took a little while because their insurance company was trying to deny their claim, but in the end the owners told me that if the insurance company didn't pay, they would pay for the damage themselves then pursue the insurance company separately. Companies standing behind their work seems so rare these days. I'll be going back to California Customs for my next installation because they had the integrity to make things right when there was a problem. If they had not followed through, I would have been here warning others about my experience. Since I had a very positive experience, it seems only right to let everyone know about that too.
