They also had stone animal statues around. The park is walking distance to restaurants and markets as well. It's colorful and peaceful. There were lots of slides. The floor is rubber so it's less messy than the dirt playgrounds. The bad: It would be nice if the playground had more shade. The water sculpture area didn't have water. The interesting: They were repainting (green color) fixtures and benches when I came so everything smelled of paint.

This is one of the few parks in the city with actual trashcans. The park itself is separated into…read moreseveral sections. The main section is more common and less focused on a specific type of group. There are an abundance of trees, beautiful plants, and flowers. There are also several park benches but not as many as some other parks. There is also a dog park area, that includes two enclosed sections. There were probably ten dogs there with their owners, and luckily I didn't witness any dog fights. Nevertheless, when I came there, there were dogs dogs everywhere in the park. The skaters area is also a park highlight. There were actually more skaters in that area, than there were other people in the park. The entire park is clean and they do a great job of maintaining it.

I've been here probably at least a dozen times and I can never seem to leave without buying a new…read morepiece of art. There must be 100 artists here on Sundays, from about 10 AM - 4 PM. Their work is amazing. Everything is negotiable. If you buy a piece that isn't framed and you want it framed, there are plenty of framers around the perimeter of the park.
