After living in Canada is hard to enjoy parks here, but surprisingly we do enjoy Colosio Park…read moreeverytime we visit with our son. There's basketball & voleyball courts but be sure to bring your own balls. If you like running/walking there's a 600m race track, it has flat parts, uphill & downhill so you do get a good exercise (this is always the last part we visit with our son and we know for sure he'll be sleeping a couple minutes after we get in the car). Don't forget to bring your kids to the wooden forts, but be careful with one of the slides, it's in a weird position and I never let my son go there, it looks too dangerous (it's a yellow slide but it looks like it's missing a piece).
A few times we've met other foreigners there with their families, so it's always nice to know you're not the only one not speaking spanish there.
There's a soccer field, some equipment to exercise with your own body weight, bathrooms, a small place with books & toys for children, a little store to buy drinks & snacks, and they even have yoga & other classes for free.
If you have pets, don't even think about bringing them, this is a no pet park.
