Every visit seems to create another unforgettable memory. One of my clients' families especially loved kids' night, and it turned into such a fun and memorable experience for them. As for my own family, we've learned to schedule later dinner reservations because once we're there, it's hard to leave! Some of my sweetest memories are from bringing my mother here while she was still with us. We often ended up being the last ones there at closing because we were enjoying ourselves so much. Kevin and his staff were always incredibly gracious, never making us feel rushed, and consistently treating us like family. That kindness leaves a lasting impression. Reading some of the less-than-positive reviews honestly surprises me because our experience over the years has been consistently wonderful. We've always received excellent service, enjoyed the entertainment, appreciated the comfortable atmosphere and beautiful views from every table, and loved the nostalgia throughout the restaurant and memorabilia. And the food? Absolutely enjoyable every time. Considering the unique experience, atmosphere, entertainment, and very reasonable pricing, I think expectations should be balanced accordingly. Personally, I genuinely enjoy the food here -- often more than at many other restaurants in town. This place is special, and we will continue making memories here for years to come.

It is 6 o'clock on a Tuesday night and it is my table and one other in the restaurant. The floor is carpeted and there are booths along the wall as well as many tables 6 top and four tops. The silverware is located in a cigar box on the table. The menu is viewed by scanning a QR code. You may ask for a paper menu as well. We ordered 6 wings half with barbecue sauce and half with Annie B's sauce. Annie B's sauce is a combination of honey mustard and barbecue sauce. We also ordered the Haystack barbecue chicken sandwich to share. It comes with fries. You're able to substitute it for mashed potatoes, green beans or you can get salad bar, or you may get mac & cheese. Not sure if the last two are an up charge or not The servers periodically get up on stage and sing. They will take requests. The barbecue wings are very good. They are double fried which gives a crisp outside skin. Comes with three celery sticks. The blue cheese and the ranch dressing are very thin. Very runny. Not much flavor to the salad dressing. Chicken sandwich is a very thin piece of chicken. I think it has too much barbecue sauce. I do like the smoked Gouda on it. However, the sandwich was cold. It should be a hot sandwich and it would get a much higher rating if it were served hot. The french fries are a thick cut curly fry. They have great flavor and great crunch. It's nice to bite into a fry and feel the meat of the potato. The wait staff is kind and they all help each other. They take turns going up and singing. It could be a request or something they choose. Oddly enough, the four songs that we recommended they knew none. So we told them to pick some thing of their own liking. Overall, the food was much better than I anticipated. Out of five stars, I would give the wings five stars but the chicken sandwich would be a 3 1/2, because it was served cold and the chicken was thin and dry. The french fries were a five. Service was definitely a five. The staff is very friendly. This would be a fun place to visit with people from out of town. It is unique to the area and the food overall was worth going back for.

Seating is limited, but it feels cozy and intimate. The staff was outstanding from the greeter to the servers, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The menu has a great variety, from ramen and teriyaki boxes to rice dishes and sushi. We started with the soft shell crab appetizer, which was incredibly fresh with a light, perfectly crisp tempura batter. For our main course, we went with a selection of sushi, and it was phenomenal. The fish was extremely fresh, served at the perfect temperature, and every flavor paired beautifully. One thing I really appreciated is they don't smother their sushi in sauces, they let the freshness and quality of the fish speak for itself, the way it should. Quite possibly the best sushi in town!!

I opened the menu and what do you know. It's RIGHT THERE on the menu. I then asked for ponzu, a basic staple at sushi restaurants, she said no we don't have it. So we asked again and what do you know. THEY DO HAVE IT. We had to flag down other servers to add items to our order. We got a blank state from all staff, zero personal attention or acknowledgement. ZERO SMILES or basic human decency for their patrons. Sushi was okay. If you actually like sushi and eat it a lot this place won't impress you. Huge menu of the same 3 fish offered in different combinations. Some of which didn't taste fresh. The Jalapeño appetizer was raw jalapeño and unmelted cream cheese that was served cold when marked it as being "deep fried". Horrific service will keep me from giving this business my money in the future.

I. Love. The. Oven. I get the same order every time, and I…read moremight be biased, but I think it's the best order out there. I always get the spinach bread, which is naan-stuffed with paneer and spinach, and is so soft and melt in your mouth delicious. I dream about the naan. Then for my main, I get the lamb bhuna with the soup on the side. I've tried a few other main courses and I honestly think the Lamb bhuna is the most flavorful thing on the menu, and a spiced so well. The mint chutney that they have to dip with the naan is also so good. I could probably drink it. I crave the oven so often. It's definitely a very busy restaurant so I would recommend making a reservation beforehand, otherwise you'll probably be waiting a pretty long time! The patio Haymarket location is super nice when the weather is good.

Everybody at the table loved it. The soup starter wasn't my favorite it didn't have much flavor to it but if you squeeze the lemon in it gets tolerable. Too much soup though. The chicken bunha was probably the best dish forgot to take a photo. Pretty strong onion flavor. The chicken tikka Marsala although good with the right amount of spice was a little different than I was used to. Overall will be back to try again.
