The Parkgalerie has been the ideal place where to improve my drawing and painting skills and move the first steps into what the figurative arts are, from the theoretical aspects to their very practical ones. Klaus and Birgit has been of great help to me and thank them, their support and the stimulating vibes of this homely an welcoming atelerier, I could succesfully prepare a porfolio for the application at the university. In this friendly spot in Berlin Friedrichshain much value is put on learning by doing, avoiding generalisations and always trying to focus on the personal development of each members attending the parkgalerie. The group is various and everybody is encouraged to find his very own way of dealing with art. It doens't matter if you're preparing the portfolio for the college, looking for some new imputs or just blowing off steam enjoyng painting and drawing: Klaus and Birgit have always a good advice for you. After having been rejected for 4 times by different universities, I'm going to study visual communication in Haburg. Birgit and Klaus never let me lose my motivation and have always been there for me, even in some very dire moments where I just wanted to throw in the towel. They gave be a stong basis and helped me to improve my understanding of what nowadays art and design mean.
