Good option on busy days…read more This parking lot is a bit outside of downtown, but offers many lots for really low fees. It's at a big bus station, but open for public. Lecce can get busy and you might struggle to find a lot. And downtown also has some ZTL zones, where you easily can lose some money. This spot here feels very safe and did cost for the whole day (actually until the next morning even) only 2 Euros. Ok, there's little shade only, so your car will be boiled. It's about a 15-20min walk to downtown and all the sightseeings and easy to manage. Of course, some other lots might be closer, but here you will still find some space while at other locations you might loose time (and nerves) looking for a parking space. We liked it and would drop our car here again. If you really not feel like walking, then it IS at a bus station, so just take one.

Alberobello is a lovely little town and shouldnl't be missed when in Southern Italy. Parking space…read moreis limited though and the ZTL a bit closer to town doens't make it easier. This place here is really just a 5min walk away from all the sights and restaurants. It's not paved, but when it's dry (and it was) that wasn't a big deal. It's well organised, safe and driving in and out a matter of moments. There are even some spots at the shade. Parking did cost 6 Euro for the day (in August). There is another big lot about 50 meters further...but that one gets full quick. Just pay the low fee here and save yourself time and a headache. We'd park here again.
