After getting the record down to the office, Sarah gets in touch with me about two days later, informing me that "the attorney had reviewed my case, and unfortunately decided not to assist" without any further explanation. She also did not bother to ask if I would like to pick up the CD, but rather sent it back to my mailbox two towns over without asking. When I grew upset over this and demanded to know why, Sarah explained that she did not provide legal advice, to which I requested to speak with an attorney, to which she said "someone from the office would call me back". When no one called me back by 11AM Monday morning, I called the office and spoke with Kelly, to whom I explained the situation, who then transferred me to the office manager to lodge a complaint (didn't get the name). This office manager immediately cut me off and accused me of being rude to office staff, which explained the stonewalling I guess, but it was ultimately her condescending tone and unwillingness to listen that sent me into an autistic meltdown, which she then repeatedly used against me with such phrases as "see?" and "this is what I mean". If you are looking for an empathetic law firm, these people are not it. Rude, condescending, completely untrained on trauma and/or mental illness, completely unprofessional because I still haven't talked to an attorney to figure out why they wouldn't take me on. Avoid.

I did not want to cause her to go bankrupt and I was not seeking anything other than what her insurance policy would cover, which fortunately was a lot. Paul took about his 1/3 which is what accident attorneys take and got me the maximum I could get. which was more than I anticipated from the beginning. he explained he could get more because this was a very involved and expensive case. I had a punctured lung six broken ribs, six fractured vertebrae. but he also explained hourly to go to court would be very expensive and probably couldn't get much more nor did I want to. so he and Melanie were fair and just and very communicative. but like anything, you can get bad car sales people and you can get really good ones, you can get doctors that don't pay attention to what you're saying and then you can get other ones that really care and invest in themselves into listening... my experience was Paul and Melanie invested themselves into my case and it went very well!
