For a park with such a grand title as the Saxon Garden, I admit I was hoping for a bit more. But…read moreunfortunately, this park and former palace grounds was almost completely destroyed during the war, so there's not much to see. The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is here, along with a sundial, a fountain, a theater, and some nice statues. But it's not very engaging. Then again, I visited in the winter, when it was all dead and brown, so perhaps it's much more beautiful and lively in the spring/summer.
