Today, 12/21/2022 however, when I went to make my payment I discovered my wallet was missing from my purse but was fortunately able to pay with my Waller account from my iPhone. My disappointment came later when I went to call the last store I visited to see if it was turned in, the cashier told me very bluntly that I could not loiter but has to take care of my business outside or at least in the breezeway. This has never happened to me previously when I had to call for an Uber or wait inside until they arrived. Perhaps the attendant (not the store owner) was having a very bad day but to not even express any words of understanding at any point was extremely uncaring. I still have to rate this store 5 because of all the past excellent customer service and variety of stock in house.

I chose the purchase just the same. I noticed the (I don't speak English) man at the cash out, reach and tap a key on the register. His gaze & body language was suspicious. I couldn't figure why I was so suspicious until I arrived home, looked at my receipt. He charged me double for a Bailey's Irish Cream totalling $38.48. I reached out to Pros Liquor the following day. His response was " no poo no no no!" Yes yes yes yes sir! Even my online banking shows me $38.48. Again he denied this. Nooooo no no no no! I insisted he look on his computer. He hangs up on me. Three times! Upon my 4th call on my recorded line he finally admitted he changed me twice. I filed a dispute for the overcharge of $18.99. Pros Liquor denied my dispute w my bank! 20th of November. I called them up daily. Cuz they kept lieing to me, making up different stories. 20th Nov. The woman hangs up on me 4X's! No resolve! A man calls me back complaining to me for having left 4 messages. On the same topic. This man spoke very good English. I told him," you keep hanging up on me!'" " I want my money!" Mind you I am 70yrs old . Not been in a liquor store in 30-40yrs. He continues to insist that I get to the store and pick up my money . I told him I do not have a vehicle , you made a mistake it's a mistake you need to be made accountable for that and return me my money . Again he insist that I get my own self to the store . So in order to retrieve my $18.99 . I have to take Uber from Cumberland to Pro's liquor store in Woonsocket Rhode Island . And then taking Uber back home after retrieving my $18.99 . What do you think would be left of my money returned to me after taking a round trip Uber . And do you think it's fair that they insisted I do this when clearly and admittingly he had made a quote mistake unquote . My financial institution did clearly state that I was disputing the fact that they charged me twice and to return my $18.99 .Pros liquor store denied me my $18.99 overcharge .​needless to say I had to file another dispute with my bank. I am 70 years old I live on a small income. This is why I decided to treat myself to a small bottle of Baileys Irish Cream. Overpriced at that. Make sure if you still do business with these people, that you get your receipt and you check it before you leave the store. I did not check my receipt until I got home. And on the following day I saw that they had charged my account $38.48. he admitted it, after many many statements of new English new English no speaking English. How can you do a business run a business with the public sector and not speaking English and charge your customer double the amount on a purchase? I insisted that email me a check. You said okay. Then I had to say do you know my address do you know my name. At which point he made believe you took it down that is to say he wrote it down. Will I get my money back taken from me stolen from me? I will leave you an update I promise you that. Make sure you get your receipt if you do business with these people from India. And make sure you look at your receipt before you leave the store. And I don't understand why they don't they do not have prices on any of the shelved liquors. Is he a thief and a liar or is he not, is the woman most likely his wife a thief and a liar, I'll be sure to let you know. I'm not accusing them of being a thief and a liar, until the story closes at which point I'll know for sure. Don't let them withhold your receipt either. They're very good at that.
