I haven't stayed in many high end luxury hotels, but I know good service when I see it. As noted, the hotel is very secluded and pretty much a destination hotel. If you are a golfer, then you won't mind the seclusion. Besides, golf there is a full-service health club next door (free for hotel guests, a spa, 4 restaurants and bars. The rooms are nicely appointed, we were in a standard room and it was large enough for the two of us. Little touches makes the rooms comfortable - plush robes, slippers and coffee and tea service in the room (with a nice teapot to boot). I did find the staff didn't always speak English so you can't assume they will understand you immediately. The breakfast buffet had English, American and Mallorcan style available. If you like your eggs over easy, good luck, I haven't found a way to order them, however, I did get close one day by saying egg fried on one side. I had the same issue in Portugal. If you want to go sight-seeing or see other parts of Mallorca, I would definitely rent a car. We spent a lot of time riding to get to the sites, but it's a pretty, if not long, drive. Not sure If I would come back but I would recommend to someone if they are only looking to golf, relax by the pool and do spa treatments. read more
