You can request an add-on picnic service which comes in a basket that you can take and enjoy somewhere on the grounds.

This hotel is amazing, posh, serene and immaculate. The staff is over-the top-friendly, attentive and helpful. I've stayed in high end hotels all over the world and this one is nicest I have experienced. Luca and Rebecca were particularly exceptional and helpful. They made our stay extra special. We rented a car and explored nearby towns for adventures and food so I can't speak to the restaurants on site. But the room, grounds and staff were unbelievable and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

This is more of a food review than a hotel review. Amazing breakfast spread. Amazing. Changes each morning, tons of local cuisine - pastries, sausages, cheese, great coffee, tons of juice, breads, pickled goods, and so much more. When you order a drink at the pool, they can just pick the fresh herbs from the plants surrounding the pool. Great views, very modern, while in the North, you can take a walk to the beach, go for a morning hike up a hill filled only with goats and sunrises and views of the island, and there is a lovely little town nearby for some local cuisine (but why do it?! The dinner here is amazing.) and mass. One of the best hotel experiences I've had. A little walking required around the premises, but you can use the golf cart!

A stunningly beautiful resort on the east coast of Mallorca. Immaculate well spread out grounds…read morewith a wide selection of high-end amenities (3 swimming pools, a private beach overlooking an inlet of the Mediterranean Sea, several tennis courts, and plenty of areas to just lounge and relax. The complex is massive...though you can walk between buildings (there are a dozen or so), it's much easier to travel by the resort's gold carts. Rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, mine had a large balcony overlooking the grounds. There is high-speed Internet in the room though I would have preferred it to be wireless (they do lend you a cable); there is free wifi in the lobby. My only other issue was that iron and ironing boards don't come standard, you have to request to borrow one. The resort is rated 5 stars but this is largely due to the endless amenities and features than to the quality (which is more 3 or 4 star worthy). Location is picturesque but quite far from Palma and the airport---expect a 1 hour + taxi ride and a 60 euro fare. Nearby Porto Petro village has a few restaurants and bars but is quite small. If you come to the Blau expect to spend most of your time at the resort which is not necessarily a bad thing.

I prefer to be served but the lines for food is so long and such an international clientele that it is probably the best way for them to go. We walked to town and it was not peak season so not crowded. The harbour town gives you some Spanish flavour but you need a car to explore the island --- or just stay and relax in the resort. It feels like a cruise ship experience. Many pools. One pool is warm Much walking. It is €89 to Palma or 1 1/2 hr bus ride. Things to see there. Only relax or walk at resort. There are yoga classes in a schedule. There are bikes or kayaks that are part of the fee to use. But no laundromats to be had. The resort charges a fortune to wash your clothes, so just hand wash and dry in the clothesline in the bath. The spa is part of your fee too and it is really nice. We did drive to Santanyi for market day on Weds. 8-1pm and it was a treat. But at the resort, just relax. If you want to be a tourist, stay in Palma or up North. Too bad the wifi is so sketchy. Seems no one here bothers with yelp so many things are not listed nor reviewed here. People want to keep it their little secret? It is mostly Germans here and their kids. I am sure the peak season is a madhouse. But we were a conference so it was ok for us. The yoga was done in 4 languages....pretty amazing teacher. There is an app you can download to get the most current events, the sheets at the reception are generally off a day or two. I walked out to the lighthouse and that is worth doing for the views. Breakfast buffet is included in your room-- although no one told us, and they will make eggs to order and everything you can imagine is there to eat. So you have to be bold and explore a bit. At least they have an adult pool when the kids screams drive you wild. The beds around the pool are dreamy.

This secluded hotel is located right on a cliff overlooking the sea. The rooms are spread out among two buildings. The beach house which sits right in front of the water and another building which is more towards the pool. There is a heated pool, a non heated pool, jacuzzis, sauna, Turkish bath and plenty of lounge chairs in many locations among the property. Also, there are stairs leading down to the sea if you'd like to go for a dip in the Mediterranean! The whole property is very tranquil and relaxing. Just walking around the hotel grounds I found enjoyable, specially with the breathtaking views of the sea. From the moment we checked in the staff here was exceptional. Time to time they would check in and make sure everything was ok with our stay. The breakfast that's included is one of the best breakfast I've had at any hotel. You have to option to order hot dishes cooked to your preference. Omelettes, eggs Benedict, poached, scrambled, crepes etc. There is also a buffet style assortment of fresh fruits, meats, bread and more on the inside. Seating is outside where a server tends to you. Taking your orders for coffee and anything you'd like off the hot menu. I chose to get an hour massage during my stay and it did not disappoint. The therapist, who I wish I could name, did a tremendous job. She really was a professional in her trade. Prices are a little high but it's at a 5 star hotel what can you expect? I found it to be worth it because it made my stay even more relaxing. Now on to the rooms. We stayed in a double deluxe in the beach house. The interior is very nice and everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable too. I'll include some attached pics later. I feel like the pictures on the hotels website don't do the rooms justice. Our room was facing the sea. View was incredible. The sound of the waves so soothing we chose to leave the windows down throughout a majority of our stay. Overall, I highly suggest a stay at this hotel whether it's for one night or a whole week. Thank you so much to the whole staff. I'll definitely be back someday

Small complaint is an exercise room in need of updating. But that is small compared to how lovely the place and people are.
