Park Fiction must be one of the coolest places in Hamburg - one of the ones with the most stupid name, too. Although it feels a bit as if you jumped on a rocket and got to the future when you get up here. The park is so close to Landungsbrücken, yet so different. But still with the same pretty view of harbor, cranes and ships. It isn't really much more than a park, but the view makes it worth it. The lack of tourists as well and let's just face it: the sort-of strange details like hammocks and palm trees that look like they've been build out of Lego, too. Awesome place to just sit and talk with a friend or two, three, four, while enjoying Harbor Hamburg around you. read more

A world of fake metal palm trees in front of a spectacular industrial vista, but the air is surprisingly clean. Cool place to lie about in the sun on a nice day, and there's often live music in from of the Pudel club, right next to the park. It's rumoured that Radiohead based their classic "Fake Plastic Trees" on this actual park. read more

This is Hamburg. Laying around the harbour and looking after container ships reeching the port to the world. Park Fiction is close to Landungsbrücken and you have some nice greens, to lay down and relax. read more

Although it's super-close to the Schanze and St Pauli it's officially in Altona. One other oddity is that it's actually a graveyard. Walking through the areas of town considered by one such northerner to be worthy, I stumbled across Wohlerspark, and I was smitten immediately. There's nothing grandiose about the park; it's not big, has neither the grandeur of Planten un Blomen nor the size of the Stadtpark, lacks both lake and river frontage, and yet there's something sublime about this spot. An excellent place to start the day, or end an evening.

Ich komm hier schon seit langer Zeit immer wieder mit Freunden her. Klar, man sollte sich nicht über etwas jüngeres Publikum ärgern, oder auch über Leute, die hier.. mal entspannen wollen! Das stört mich aber nicht wirklich, solange ich damit nicht genervt werden. Der Platz ist einfach sehr schön gelegen und hat einfach Charme. Man kennt die Szenerie aus verschiedensten Musikvideos schon, dadurch hat der Platz auch an Popularität gewonnen. Trotzdem kann man hier immer noch sehr nette Nachmittage und Abende haben, wenn man die richtige Leute dabei hat. Hier ist es nie langweilig und eigentlich lernt man auch immer neue Leute durch zufällige Gespräche kennen. Ich werde hier weiterhin herkommen, als Treffpunkt einfach super. Vom Ausblick her lässt sich der Platz auch kaum überbieten. read more

Zu Besuch in Hamburg. Da war klar, ein Besuch im Szeneviertel Schanze/Sankt Pauli war pflicht. Der Palmen-Park kam, mit dem guten Wetter (Sonnenschein bei 25°), ganz gelegen. Ist halt ein Szene-Park, voller Hipster. Trotzdem ist einfach nur cool hier! So viele verschiedene Leute mit verschiedenen Geschichten. Außerdem, ja hier wird viel gekifft, ist es sooo lustig, wenn die Männer hier Basketball spielen, als wären sie in der NBA. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft, zur linken Seite die neue Elbphi, zur Rechten gefühlt der komplette Hafen. Aufjedenfall sieht man die Kläranlage ^^ read more

Ein kleiner aber feiner Park, der zum Verweilen einlädt. Hin und wieder bin ich dort auch mal anzutreffen. Man hat einen schönen Blick auf dem Hafen und der Park ist gut zu erreichen. Bei warmen Wetter kann es hier schon mal richtig voll werden, spätestens dann ergreife ich dann doch die Flucht und weiche auf größere und weitläufigere Parks aus. read more

Ich bin unglaublich gerne hier. Der Ausblick ist einfach einmalig und es gibt viele gemütliche Plätze zum sitzen. Im Sommer ist hier immer eine Menge los und man sieht viele unterschiedlige und interessante Menschen. Ich finde der Park ist einfach sehr gut gelungen und schafft einen kleinen Ruheplatz in der sonst so hektischen Umgebung. read more

Ich bin jetzt wo der Sommer kommt, fast jeden Tag hier anzutreffen. Hier ist einfach eine super Stimmung, tolles Publikum und die beste Aussicht der Stadt. Zugegeben im Sommer kann es hier sehr voll werden, da aber einfach so freundliche Menschen den Park Fiction nutzen, ist es gar kein Problem mir den Park mit ihnen zu teilen. read more

Einer meiner Lieblingsparks in Hamburg! Der Blick auf den Hafen ist der Hammer! Die Leute hier sind immer entspannt drauf und es ist immer was los. Die künstlichen Palmen und die chillout areas finde ich persönlich mega cool. Kleiner Tipp: Beim Hafengeburtstag hierhergehen und ein Sekt. Mehr geht nicht! read more

Ich finde den Park Fiction echt toll. Sehr gerne geh ich hier nach dem Feiern hin um den Sonnenaufgang zu genießen oder auch mal Tagsüber um sich einfach zu entspannen. Hier macht es wirklich immer spaß zu sein und bei wunderschönem Ausblick zu entspannen. read more

Der Park hat echt charme und der Ausblick ist einfach genial. Im Sommer bekommt man unter den Palmen aus Plastik fast schon Urlaubsstimmung. Verbringe hier häufig gemütliche Abende mit Freunden und Astra. read more
