Saw online that there were free tours. When a group of us walked in, the employees let us know that we are free to give ourselves a self-guided tour, as everything is open. We went to the back, where we saw machines and work stations, kind of like a mini museum about perfume creation. Lots of good photo opportunities too. After we walked around (which only took about 5-10 minutes), we looked around in the shop and sampled many perfumes! All of which were great, but on the pricey side. Such a fun experience at the Parfumerie Galimard! Booked a perfume making class prior to visiting and had a blast. The staff walk you through the process and discuss the different "notes" of a perfume. You get 6 bottles to choose from for each of the three notes and smell them together as you go to ensure you're happy with the final product. They also keep your formula on file, so you can reorder in the future! Following the class, we also were able to walk around and learn a bit more about the factory and smell some of their signature scents. read more

My husband and I did a perfume creation workshop in Eze with Jeanette (the 40 minute workshop) on September 21st. It was one of the highlights of our trip to France! Jeanette was lovely - so helpful, explained everything and made the process so fun. The perfume needs two weeks for the fragrances to meld, so we just opened it today and I absolutely love it. We would 100% recommend a Galimard workshop with Jeanette!! read more

We stopped by this Parfumerie at the base of the beautiful medieval Eze Village. Although no tours or perfume making demos were available at the time we were free to view displays of the equipment, flowers, herbs and other ingredients as well as the process involved in making perfume. The cashier was not particularly friendly but the sales staff at the counters were informative and more than happy to explain the different products and fragrances. The prices were reasonable and the variety of items from bath products to fragrances made it easy to choose a few items to give as gifts from our trip. read more

Loved this place!!! So this was our family's first trip so far from home (Hawaii) and during the planning stages my 70 year old mother stated that one of her goals would be to bring back a special perfume from the region. What better way than to go to the factory itself! We had already spent majority of our trip in Monaco and had planned on stopping in Eze Village on the way back to Nice, FR heading home. Our private driver asked if we had a factory in mind that we wanted to see? We said we were open if he knew a good one. He said he did, so we decided to follow his lead. At mother's age she walks slower, uses a cane, and takes lots of rest stops to sit. Emen, our driver, drove right up to the front of the Parfumerie where they moved the staunches and red ropes right in front of the door for us. It was just a few steps to the door. Once inside, we were greeted by friendly staff members and was immediately assigned an English speaking tour guide and began the tour. We learned the history of the discovery of perfume and was delighted to learn that Jean de Galimard was the person who began designing perfume was the one who started this factory in 1747. Our tour guide showed us where new fragrances were made at the organs and offered us to have one made specifically for one's own skin! It would have been most special, but we did not have the time to spend for them to make it. However, we did the next best thing was a par fume test tour! We tried everything! Picked up a few fragrances and soaps for ourselves and as gifts! Great place! I would recommend the visit to this historic shop for any fragrance wearer. You will be very pleased! read more

The staff is very friendly and spoke English! Our helper explained the history and ingredients of the perfumes and colognes that we were interested in. Without her help, we may not have purchased anything! Prices were reasonable as well! read more
