Both dishes were well seasoned and flavorful; the fish and chips in particular had the best texture - flaky and crispy but tender. Dessert was a pot de creme (I think) and it was absolutely delicious! Fork battles were fought for the last bite. Do try this tiny little establishment, it's a gem.

The food is incredible and the service is very friendly. I ended up coming back here for a second meal, which was even better than the first! The menu changes regularly, and is filled with fresh, seasonal choices. Make sure you get dessert! I had the chocolate mouse, and it was so light and delicious. I wasn't even in the mood for sweets, and my colleagues ordered this for me....i ate the whole thing in minutes! This is located in the heart of the city centre of Lille. Make sure you walk around before or after your meal. Highly recommended!!

As the photo shows, the goat cheese was baked onto a piece of wonderful bread, so it was almost like getting a salad and sandwich. Overall though, this was an excellent experience in every way. Great service, great food, convenient location. Note that we did not have a reservation, but the owner squeezed us in. I would highly recommend it because even at 1:30 on a weekday, this restaurant was packed.
