Je kan er eten en drinken op maat van kinderen en het regent er niet binnen. De prijs per uur valt best mee, maar met de snoep en drankjes er bij kost het je al snel 15 euro voor een middagje uit per kind.

There is a public playground outside, which is open daily until 1800 if I a not mistaken. There are swings of all sizes, slides, and a few goats (behind a grid) that will entertain any young child. Now this year we were looking for a location to celebrate my son's 6th birthday, and they offer very nice all inclusive packages (animation, cake and drinks), I know it is available in French and Dutch and strongly believe it is possible in english. The entertainment is provided by young adults that browse through various rooms of the museum where different themes are on displays. The worlds cultural differences, the cycle of life, etc... the displays are well conceived and the level of detail provided by the leader is adapted to the audience. The ONLY weak point is that the museum is a real classic for schools in Brussels, so you might be confronted with a group of kids who have already seen everything;-) But they do renew the displays on a bi-yearly basis.

Not the best children's playground we have been to by far. The castle wasn't very imaginative in…read moreits construction, in how children could access it or how it would ignite children's imaginations. It smelled like urine in parts and there were cigarette butts all over the place. The sand was the best feature but some of the sand features were broken and there were no tools with which to scoop the sand with to use the features that weren't broken, which was a shame. I wouldn't make an effort to visit it again as there are better parks in Brussels. We quite liked Parc Bonnevie near Flanders. On the upside, the gardens near the children's play park were a great space for our little ones to run around and climb things, they were much more stimulated here. It is also about 10 mins walk from the Eurostar terminal and if you have an hour kill with your kids before your train leaves it's worth going there to expend some energy.
