We stayed just down the road from the park entrance, about 2 minute walk, meaning it was a perfect place to relax after the chaos of road works and people hurrying from A to B. The kids loved the green areas where they could run and play but soon discovered the play park where the younger ones had somewhere to play safe away from the bigger kids. A definite must see if you find yourself in Bordeaux and just want to enjoy the beauty of nature.

On the plus side, they seem to be building a new children's play area here, but simply based on the existing attractions I really can't recommend paying this park a visit.

What a beautiful, serene, yet invigorating park this is with streams, vegetable gardens, flower beds, palms, rolling grasslands, and benches. Strolling through this oasis is a favorite pastime of locals and tourists alike. Adajacent are cafes, museums, and more. It's free and a great place to catch your breath and inhale the fragrance of nature.
