The wildlife here is quite abundant. In the mere hour that I was walking, I saw hummingbirds, red squirrels, ducks and a wonderful array of wild mushrooms, more than any I'd ever seen in my life. As well, I smelled how fragrant they are, off the forest floor as I was trying to photograph them.
FEE:Stop at the park entry points to pay. The basic entry fee is $6.50 per person. Check the website for additional fees (i.e. camping, etc.)
TRAILS: Unfortunately, I was short on time and only walked the Beaver Trail. This is located off Road 26, just 10 minutes from the south entrance of the park. It is friendly for those with mobility issues and only takes 20 minutes. It is also kid-friendly. The 'Discovery Centre' wasn't too impressive, but was well-organized with explanations on land formations and how to identify various types of animals in the park.
ROADS: Route 1 running north-south on the east side of the park. It's extremely narrow and rocky, taking about 45 minutes to go from one end to the other. I'm pretty sure this might scare a few urbanites.
